Crisis line through Racine Behavioral Health is out of control. The “trained” crisis professionals will taunt you, laugh, mock, and overall not even respond to your crisis. Leading to actual ESCALATION and not deescalation like how I thought they were trained. Truth is, I don’t think there is much training going on or they’re short staffed so they take it out on the poor callers. I’ve lodged a complaint before and Cassandra the supervisor has done nothing. At the end of the day, it is just a job for them and they don’t care about how you truly feel or if you’re even alive. The mobile response team will come out and do nothing as well besides offer halo (which is full always) or sail (which is not too different than jail). They will say you refused those services to make it look like they attempted to help. It is extremely dangerous. Building a new facility but having no resources is crazy… but it’s about how you look to the community. Guarantee if they listen to one of the phone calls between a crisis worker and a caller, they would be blown away with the treatment they receive from people being paid to talk and calm them down. Revise this WHOLE BUILDING AND “TEAMS” nothing about this place is professional and I fear from the others that are struggling with MH in this community with this being the only “safe haven” NOT.

The counseling. { Talk Therapy } Was ok,But they seem to be to fast to put you on meds. I didn't see the point of being on meds for an eating disorder.I'm weighing in at 86# .And feel great , now that i stoped going.Dont have to worry about the one dr who thinks meds are the answer.
