Best Friends Obedience & Agility School

I was not happy at all with the obedience classes. I was suppose to be in a class. Got a call a few days before class that my pup was the only one signed up so they bumped my puppy to the next class which I feel he wasnt ready for and the class was more expensive which I had to pay for the difference. I never got any homework online like promised. I even went to my spam area on my email. I also had an issue at class that I wanted to bring to their attention. So I called and chatted a bit about it and was promised a call back from the I Instructor and never received a call back. Then the next class I wasnt even talked to about why I had called. I didn't even finish the entire class since it was so not OK. So I paid for a class I was not happy with from the beginning. I have since put my pup in a different class elsewhere and my pup has done amazing. I get e.mails the day before each class reminding me of the next day class. I receive homework during class to go home with me to go over what we went over and what's to come. Better communication over all. My pup the first class with best friends obedience i had to practically drag my pup in. He didn't want to go in. I should have listened to the cue. My pup loves the new class and cant wait to go back. Im already signed up for the next new class there. I hope best friends obedience will take this review and make changes. To communicate better. To print out weekly homework. To not make it all about their dogs but to wrk on clients dogs. If you promise a call back from an instructor it should happen not just be ignored. I could go on sadly. It was definitely a waste of time and money. Im just glad I found a new place where my pup is learning. A place that has compassion and organization.

Went there to meet with them about my rescue dog occasionally attending daycare. The woman made me feel as if my dog had bad teeth, which no vet ever mentioned and wouldn't let him come to daycare until I had him looked at AGAIN by a vet. I left knowing I would NEVER leave my sweet dog there with those people. Do better. Guess they prefer bred dogs. Sad.

A wonderful place to have your dog make friends with while you're out at work, going hiking in a no animal zone, an all day, half or a quick lunch date.

The best Dog Classes and Dog Daycare around! Highly recommended, the instructor is very patient and cares a lot about safety and ensures all animals are well supervised!

I am not a person who writes reviews but we have had such a great experience with Best Friends, I have to share about it! We rescued a puppy over the summer who was very anxious and insecure. We started out doing one on one's with the staff, who were incredibly patient and worked to make our pup feel more secure around other dogs. I was really nervous about putting our dog in daycare at first, I did a lot of research for places in the surrounding area and even took him to one initially that was ultimately not a good fit. Best Friends really takes the time to know your dog and meets them where they are at. We had several one on one sessions until they felt confident that he could join the main play group. We have had our guy in daycare for about 3 months and he absolutely LOVES going. I mean, he can't get out of the car fast enough when we pull in. I practically don't exist at drop off he's so excited to get in the gate! When I tell you our dog could not be without us for 2 minutes, his progress has been tremendous. It really goes to show how much effort is put into taking care of the dogs, the staff are incredibly kind and I feel good knowing our dog is well loved, safe and taken care of. Simply put, we are so pleased with our experience with Best Friends and expect to be going there for years to come. I wouldn't want to bring our pup anywhere else. Don't hesitate, this is the place!

I have had it all here: classes, private lessons, one on one play sessions, and daycare for my two dogs. The trainers at best friends have helped one dog significantly reduce their reactivity, and the other has been able to get socialized as a puppy and have some fun while her parents are at work at daycare. The puppy hates leaving daycare, she's always so happy to get there! The folks truly care about all the doggies they teach and care for.
