I do not recommend this clinic, bad experience.

Interesting business practices; friends and family have said they are very pushy with scheduling more appointments than could be afforded or within reason of want.

I want to share my experience in detail to provide context for anyone considering this practice. October 8: I inquired about therapy services, specifying that I was looking for CBT-focused therapy and asking whether CareCredit would be accepted. I was told it would. Before booking, I confirmed that a payment plan would be acceptable, and I was assured it would be fine. Appointment Day: No one told me the therapist’s location beforehand. I assumed it would be the facility closest to me, since I looked up that location and called the number associated with it. Upon arrival, I was told the appointment was in another town and that I’d need to either reschedule or rush to make it there on time. That level of miscommunication feels extremely unprofessional, especially for a mental health practice where clear communication is fundamental. During Visit: The session was essentially talk therapy. After I explained why I was there and what I was going through, the therapist mentioned that she couldn’t imagine going through something like that herself and became emotional. This was concerning — I was seeking support, and it felt inappropriate for the therapist to be the one in tears during my session. Payment Issues: I made it clear from the start that I could not pay the full session cost ($135) upfront. Despite this, the front desk repeatedly pressured me for full payment and ultimately forced me to put my debit card on file, which made me uncomfortable and worried they might try to charge the full amount since they had been pushing so hard for it. I agreed to a $40/month payment plan, which was accepted, and the first $40 payment was made on 10/15. I have since followed this plan. Additional Payment Pressure: Even before the first $40 payment was made, there was constant pressure to pay the full amount. I also made it clear that I could not afford weekly sessions, which the therapist had suggested — this would have been $540/month. Despite my repeated statements, they continued to push for the appointment to go ahead. Professionalism Concerns: It became clear that the practice prioritizes collecting money over client care. While I understand a business needs to make ends meet, the focus on financial collection over supporting clients seeking help felt greedy and unprofessional. Between being misled about location, pushed for full payment against my stated limits, and having my card leveraged, their repeated failures in communication and consideration show a lack of professionalism. Final Thoughts: If a mental health facility cannot properly communicate basic client information — a fundamental skill in their line of work — it is a huge red flag and reflects poorly on the business. This pattern of miscommunication and pressure has fully solidified my decision not to return.
