I fell in love with this daycare during my first phone call when I encountered Mrs. Shina. The joy, care, compassion and commitment she has when discussing the children sold me. She has a warm welcome environment and does not constrict children to one area. They are able to roam and explore in a safe environment, she is very attentive and communicates well with parents. My son feels at home when he is with her and at daycare. I wish I found her sooner but I am so grateful for her dedication and service to our children. My son does not cry when I drop him off and when I pick him he has a lot of good stories to tell me about his day. 10 out of 10 I’d recommend again!

Ms. Shina is so sweet and has a heart of gold! She took in my 2y/o with no problem. You can tell that she is very passionate about what she does!

I had the pleasure of touring this facility and meeting Ms. Shina , I loved her very warm welcoming presence and the smell of her facility , it smelled like a clean daycare . I love how attentive and aware and present she was while making me feel comfortable aswell never did she not once take her eyes off the babies no matter where we went in the facility . It’s so hard to get that these days . I love how hands on she was how not only is she just in the facility but she also take part in caring for the babies she conversed and talk with me and my baby as if she known us for years ! I’m strongly considering placing my infant with her ! Even if i decide not to i def already started sharing her info with others!!

As a first-time parent, entrusting my child to someone else's care was one of the toughest decisions I've had to make. But from the moment I stepped into the center , I knew my daughter was in the right hands. The facility is vibrant, clean, and exudes a warm, safe atmosphere. It's evident that children's well-being is a priority here. What stands out most is the staff. Each caregiver is a gem - professional, passionate about their work, and seemingly endowed with endless patience and energy. They don't just ''watch'' the children; they engage with them and teach. I've noticed how they tailor activities to suit individual developmental needs, which is impressive. I love it here and so does my daughter.

I absolutely love this my place and so so does my 4 year old he started going here when he was about 1 and a half. I was scared to let my baby go to daycare. But Ms.Shina the director eased all my worries. She is so warm, welcoming and professional .She and her staff are truly amazing. My baby has bloomed I’ve seen so much growth since my son has been enrolled here. She truly cares about these children and that’s hard to come by. You can tell they have a passion for teaching and caring for the children at Big Beginnings Small Steps Learning Academy. My baby is always to happy to tell me what he learned at school. From potty training to ABC’s to Black History my baby has learned so much here. I recommend this place to anyone looking for childcare facility.

I absolutely love this daycare facility! From the first day I toured the daycare, I felt welcomed and it felt like family! My baby is always happy there! I love the entire team! I’m very happy! It’s also the most affordable daycare I’ve found in the Memphis area!
