A blessing to have some where thar takes walk ins
I give it 3 stars because I'm grateful that they provide walk-in service. However, my experience with the diligence and thorough nature of their care has been severely lacking. My cat has been dealing with upper respiratory symptoms (stuffy nose, weepy eyes) for months. I've brought her here multiple times with these concerns, and they look at her for 10 minutes tops, always giving the same cursory diagnosis. "Yup, it's an upper respiratory infection" and the same prescription that doesn't work. I can no longer afford to pay the $200 to walk in the door and get the same answers, so I've stopped going and am trying to treat her symptoms at home the best I can. Maybe try this vet if it's an emergency or if you have a diagnosis and need a script, but they're not great at listening to concerns about ineffective treatments or giving thorough examinations
Only place I know open on Saturday, good people doing what they can to help
I usually love going here.I always bring my cat and I usually have a very good experience. It goes fast, I'm in and out and my cats are taking care of at a reasonable price. But this last visit was not the case I came in even bringing my own stool sample because my cat has been having diarrhea uncontrollably, they didn't even look at my cat, just assume that she got into some kind of food or something bad and just shipped me out the door with a cost that was over $300, almost and said, come back if the diarrhea still is happening, which it is. But if they would have just looked at the stool sample, then I brought in that would have saved me another visit. Now that I have to go and spend who knows how much cause i've never had pay three hundred dollars there and i've been there plenty of times i've brought my three cats in all at once , and it wasn't even that much money! So kind of disappointed. It was a different vet too than the normal vet.It wasn't the lady that I like a lot
We have been coming to BAC for a year now. We recently had to bring our 20+ year old cat in to be euthanized. The care and time they took with us and our baby was amazing. When I went to pick up his ashes they were in a beautiful box and they included keepsakes. I wasn’t expecting all of this and lost it again when I got to my car. They also sent a sympathy card to our family. Maureen is a godsend and all of the staff are just as wonderful. Thank you all for taking such good care of our baby (and all of our fur babies).
Dr. MacDonald and Dr. Elmore are amazing vets! The staff are compassionate. When my former vet refused to see my animals in emergencies, I decided it was time to go to another practice. You can get your animal seen quicker going to BAC. If it's something quite serious that requires X-rays, their parent hospital Endwell Animal Hospital can take over. Dr. Elmore saw my cat Velvet at BAC when I noticed a lump on her back. A week later, he removed it at EAH. Both vers are skilled and compassionate.
Staff and doctors are very friendly. Was able to walk in for an appointment. Expect wait times 1 plus hours.
