Be careful if you receive scholarship, they have tactics to not credit you for the semester. These were what I encountered: 1. after one year, if you are out of state, they want you to apply for local resident. If your parents don't live and work in New York, it's useless. The process delayed the scholarship and at the end they will say too late for the semester to give you the credit. 2. Scholarship credit never showed up. You wrote several emails and no reply. When you talk to them in person, they said will check your emails. What a scam.
The campus is beautiful, but if you live off-campus be careful and especially at night in the city of Binghamton. The engineering department is very good, but other departments outside of this are terrible as most professors here just care about tenure.
I attended Binghamton University and enjoy their public performances.
Its ok nothing out the ordinary. Just stay safe and keep out of places use don't need to be in or around.
