Just want to say me and my wife love this place and the entire staff, we have seen strides and continue to do so from our son since he has been going early of last year.
Very sketchy facility, not is all as it seems. I have two non verbal twin boys who started at bloom. All was well until it started coming down to the financial aspect. Long story short, yes my insurance denied a lot of the claims for this place, but not at their own fault. With no notice the facility called me and I had to pull my twins out, also told at this time I owe 50,000. My boys hadn't even been there for 6 months. If three, they told me at this time I would need to reach out to my insurance and figure it out. Well months later after filing an appeal with my insurance (and winning) I was told that I owed nowhere near 50k not even half that, and the whole time I was going through the appeal process this facility would harass me and call, they would send me emailed invoices for random amounts of money anywhere from 50$ to 8000$ with no exact itemization. So in the end of my rant, the people working it, are awesome. The people actually running it need a different profession because with my experience they clearly only cared about my money and not my children.
Our son did after-school ABA for a couple years when he was about five to seven. It was a lot for him at first, but he grew to like it and he’s learned so much from it. All of the people who work there are kind and professional, and it is very well organized.
As another client has stated “expelled” so were my children, due to negligence of cleaning toys keeping sickies on going and not honoring physician notes for absences. They also fraudulently billed tricare days after our last day attended on 2/13 through 2/21 and other days that we missed. So beware and Pay attention to billing. Beware how quickly the owner will have an inappropriate attitude towards questioning any issues that your having. Staff “RBT” would tell me child hit head wouldn’t have a report ready at hand and would deny it saying fell on butt instead. I believe he was being pulled “forced” falling back from hand being pulled. Not waiting him out. During SLP/ OT evaluation my child was forced to sit in a desk highly upset and sick with a fever. Blowing bubbles in his face while he was obviously dazed out in a absence seizure or confusion not even relating to me being there. Had a fever that morning and DR note. Ignored it. Kept him for 6 hours with a fever no notice to me crying/ grunting all day. No meds. Within an hour of being home he had tonic clonic episode. Takes days for him to recover. Forcibly want the child there not putting them first. Owner instructed staff to pressure me to leave him even after said he’s sick. Later that night had seizure after not having one for over a year! Started meds and consults and other diagnoses. It was too stressful for him. At our new place not once has there been an issue with missing days while actively having a fever. Don’t want all the kids or center to catch the bug. Bloom wants the money daily don’t have the best interest of the child at hand. children cried turning into the parking lot of this place! Hand full of others kids cried daily. My gentle giant was being accused of biting out of his character. Both kids love new their new center not once they been upset walking in. Not forced to apply immediately allowed to be redirected or waited out. My child is used for tour kids/ new clients. Other saying words. This place is not a fit for anyone that questions them or If you put your child first.
Bloom Behavioral Solutions is exceptionally inept. Our kiddo 4 y/o kiddo attended for 5 months. Our family communicated daily with the staff. Only to have the rug pulled out from under us; when they expelled the child with no warning from services. For those who can appreciate how important routine is for ASD kiddos, this was devastating. Then to add insult to injury, they failed, after our repeated requests, to provide timely invoices so we could benefit from reimbursements from Step-Up. Needless to say, we lost that too. Bloom Behavioral Solutions is not worth the headache and heartache they’ve cause us. BEWARE!!
My son was one of the first patients at Bloom and we still are using his skills to this day. Thank you Bloom
I can't say enough wonderful things about this clinic. Our child has made incredible strides while attending Bloom, and we are immensely grateful for the love, consideration, and patience they show and instill in our child everyday while preparing him to thrive in the world. The facility itself is an immaculate, inviting space and the staff is friendly and professional. Thank you, to everyone there, for all you do for these amazing children.
My son attended Bloom for OT related to hand strength. He absolutely loved working with Samantha Edgar and improved at a rate that exceeded all of our expectations. His improvement aside, the excitement and joy he had while working with her is something that made a positive experience into a wonderful experience.
