Blue Stars Therapy

If I could give Blue Stars Therapy more than 5 stars I would give them 10!! This review is bittersweet due to my son transitioning to pre-k. We will miss Blue Stars a great deal. They welcomed my son with open arms. He learned and progressed so much since being here. My son wears a prosthesis and Blue Stars was phenomenal with assisting me with teaching him to walk. Me and his PT was able to train the staff on how to properly handle and monitor his prosthesis. They did such a great job. Due to their help my son started walking independently within a few months after having a walker. They supported, challenged and encouraged my son through this whole journey. The parent training is very empowering in that they provide the necessary tools to help you succeed at home. My son loved attending Blue Stars, he would take their hand and walk in with no problem. I’m sad because I know my son will miss this agency as will I. If any parent is looking for a safe, reputable, growth-focused, caring agency… Blue Stars is your place!!

The power of early intervention: I know it can be hard for some to accept when a child isn’t hitting certain developmental milestones, but for us, we’ve been on top of it since our son was just a year and a half old. He started in Missouri First Steps, receiving speech therapy, occupational therapy, and every resource available to help get him on the right track. But even with those tools, being in the WRONG environment slowed his progress. After leaving, and after a successful surgery to remove his adenoids and put tubes in his ears, we found a place called Blue Stars Therapy. It was a rough start, but they never gave up on him. Alongside our dedication as parents to focus on his needs, we began to see changes that felt almost overnight. Our child, who once couldn’t speak in complete sentences or clearly express his wants and needs, began not only to do those things, but also to read, write, and share his emotions. We just had his last day, and we practically had to drag him out. I saw tears in the eyes of his therapists and the love they have for him has been everything. Our son is proof of what’s possible with the right support and people who never give up. We are forever grateful for Blue Stars Therapy!

If i could give 10 stars i would! My daughter felt comfortable immediately and has grown so much within the short amount of time she has attended this school. All of the staff are supportive, overall great experience!

My child has had a wonderful experience at Blue Stars. He looks forward everyday to his time at Blue Stars. He’s always eager to enter when we arrive. I’ve noticed social communication growth within my child. I appreciate the caring and communicative staff. EDSM is a great, and I’m glad there is a therapy school in the STL area that is implementing it. :)

I love this school so much. I started my oldest son in this school when he was two who only used two words and he left the school when he was three and he now says three word sentences. Even helped him self care things like brushing his teeth and dressing himself. This school works! The owners are so honest and caring and the therapist there are personal and kind. I have my second son In there now and he’s doing wonderful already. 100%recommend bringing your child here for therapy!
