Haley Hart and her whole team are soo amazing. She makes sure we are always on the same page when I comes to my sons needs. I’ve never seen such a dedicated and hard working team. Thank you ladies for everything you have done and continue to do for Jaxson.!
Bluegrass Behavioral Services for Children has demonstrated a significant positive impact on my daughter’s behavioral and emotional development. Through consistent therapeutic intervention and structured support, she has acquired and generalized coping strategies that now form part of her daily routine. This behavioral shift, from frequent outbursts and emotional dysregulation to the application of adaptive coping mechanisms, reflects measurable progress in self-regulation and emotional awareness. This organization’s evidence-based approach has facilitated a meaningful improvement in her functional behavior and overall emotional stability.
We use Bluegrass Behavioral Services at 3 of my preschools and they’ve been amazing! The kids get so much support, and the staff is wonderful to work with. Couldn’t ask for better partners.
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude and unwavering support for the partnership our center has developed with Bluegrass Behavioral. Since welcoming them into our program, the transformation we’ve experienced both professionally and personally has been nothing short of remarkable. The presence of Bluegrass in our centers has positively impacted every facet of our operations. Their team of compassionate and skilled professionals has brought a level of therapeutic support that was previously unavailable to our children, families, and staff. Their ability to respond quickly to behavioral challenges, support emotional regulation, and implement individualized strategies has not only improved the day-to-day experiences of our students but also drastically reduced the stress and pressure on our educators.
After 2 years with the center, graduating to Kindergarten feels huge. But the growth, emotional intelligence, and mental development my child gained here has prepped us for this moment. I feel confident in the treatment and work my child received, and I’m grateful we have these tools and experiences to navigate the road ahead!
We’ve been navigating behavior issues for the past year or more. Once a week behavior therapy, once a week OT, and ADHD meds were not fully addressing the challenges. We had been expelled from one daycare and discussions of the same came up at our next. And before that we left a daycare suspecting lack of structure wasn’t helping the aggressive behavior. We were attending doctors appointments multiple times a week. Picking up from preschool for aggressive behavior several times a week; picking up from daycare several times a week for aggressive behavior. And work began questioning my constant leaving for appointments. We then signed up for gymnastics (after work) to help give extra energy an outlet. This helped some but still wasn’t helping with the aggressive behavior. We were at a loss for where to find help. In fact, we “circled the wagons”, if you will, in an attempt to focus all of our attention. We were turned away from UK saying the program was full. We were turned away from a program at Cardinal Hill saying they were unequipped to help with the challenges we face. We were turned away from Cincinnati Childrens Hospital saying they had no openings for the challenges we face. I then wrote a letter (email) explaining our situation and started sending it to any entity related to therapeutic services. One of those emails went to Bluegrass Behavioral Services for Children and they responded with a phone call. After a phone conversation they wanted us to come by for a visit and discuss the boys and the challenges our family is facing. They met with us one on one and not in a rush. For the first time, we felt heard, completely. Someone seemingly understood. We’ve been attending BBSC for over a month now and it has been amazing. The boys attend 3 hours a day/5 days a week (I drop them off on my lunch break and pick them up after work.) And, starting today they send a staff person to daycare 4 hours a day to help the boys there. Finally, we are not getting constant phone calls to pick them up and more importantly, they are showing progress! (We also signed them up for martial arts and find the movement and control they teach is very similar to OT. )
