Mark and the entire team at Brain Balance are wonderful. We brought our 5 year old daughter in who was struggling with some developmental milestones, social interactions, memory, and emotional regulation. The staff were exceptionally professional, kind, patient, and seem to genuinely love our little girl. We've experienced a lot of positive changes in our kids since they've done their program at Brain Balance. And since the new owners took over and learned, they've improved their processes to do more follow up after the program ends to keep the change permanent. Our thirteen year old daughter had been dealing with severe anxiety and depression for two years. This manifested itself in her engaging in multiple acts of self harm and repeated threats of taking her own life. She was anti-social, impulsive and had trouble processing her thoughts in a rational manner. We tried different mental health therapies and medication, but nothing worked for her. We finally decided to try something different, took her to Brain Balance, and it has completely changed her life. After a few weeks of the program, she was off all her medication, had no more thoughts of self harm, and she stopped lashing out and acting impulsively. It has now been two months since she started the program and she has much more confidence, wants to interact with people, is level-headed and feels like a weight has been lifted from her. The Brain Balance staff have all been excellent, professional, and a joy to work with during every appointment. We feel blessed and grateful to have discovered the Brain Balance Center.
