Brain Balance Center of Lee's Summit

Our son has made significant progress since starting his Brain Balance program. He was delayed in many areas for his age and it's been a blessing to see him advance. He's willing to learn new things, take risks and has developed his own self identity. We are so thankful!

The people here are some of the kindest I have met. Our 13-year-old daughter felt accepted and supported here, and she knew they were all rooting for her success. She made some great improvements emotionally, socially, and academically. Roxanne, the owner, knows her stuff and it shows. She and her team were lovely to work with.

Our family's experience has been beyond amazing!! This has been life changing for our 12 year daughter but also for us. Brain Balance truly helped bring her joy back. Traditional therapy was not helping when she knew what actions she should take but her brain did not know how to make this connection. Reading "Disconnected Kids" lead me to Brain Balance and I am so grateful to the program and every staff member! I cannot even remember the girl she was 8 months ago. Her tantrums are gone and her ability to function at school has improved 1000%. Every staff member is amazing and goes out of their way to be helpful and caring and they have become like family!!

My son, who is on the autism spectrum, was there for 10 months and helped him tremendously!! His IEP was amazing this year and met most all of his goals in school and Brain Balance had a HUGE part in that! He was a very picky eater and wouldn’t try anything new and now after Brain Balance he is starting new foods and really loving them! I would recommend Brain Balance, the staff and coaches know exactly how to handle the kids there and my son absolutely loved each and everyone of them! (Picture of his Graduation day)

I am so glad we found Brain Balance of Lees Summit. It has made a night & day difference in our 6 year olds behaviors and thought process in school. We had been struggling with this since she was 3 with almost getting kicked out of one daycare at 3. Then getting kicked out of one at 6 b/c she was not safe after only being there almost 4 months. We were lost as to what to do. She was struggling in school as well. She was just constantly in the fight or flight response so she would run from the teachers, hide, kick and scream. We didn’t want to medicate our child and make her a zombie. I always heard the commercial for Brain Balance and figured let’s look into it. So I called and left a message and Karen (Nana) was quick to call me back, even though they were at a conference in another state. After meeting with Roxanne (very knowledgeable) and talking to her she made me feel so much better and knew exactly what we were taking about and the missing pieces started coming together. So many people in our daughters life can tell how HUGE this change has been. The coaches are sooooo patient, caring and just amazing. ❤️ I could go on and on. They really become family!! It’s like a huge weight/stress was just lifted when she started showing improvement in school. I just can’t tell all of them THANK YOU enough to show how much I really appreciate EVERYTHING they have done for our daughter.

Our son was having trouble in school and even going to school. He was having meltdowns on a daily basis and not just about school but about his social life. We didn’t know what to do or where to turn. When we heard about Brain Balance we weren’t sure what would happen but any help was better than nothing. What we got however when we started the program is nothing short of a miracle. We saw results almost instantly our sons confidence grew and the meltdowns just went away. He went from completely hating school to doing well and, gasp, even enjoying it. He loves to read now and his social interactions have improved immensely. It’s almost like night and day the transition we have seen seeing him now just shows even more progress, progress we didn’t even know until it was corrected. We can’t begin to express how thrilled we are with our son’s progress and highly recommend the Brain Balance program!
