Brain Balance of Denton

We did brain balance for our daughter and our son. They needed five months and they were 8 & 9 yrs old when they went through the program. They were left Brain focused and got exercises and training to work their right side. The first thing I noticed was the kids coordination, strength and form on push-ups and crunches improve. Then about a month and a half to two months in my daughter‘s handwriting dramatically improved. My son‘s spacial awareness improved around this time also and he was able to keep his hands more to himself during school time. My kids told me they can focus better at school on tasks and on things written on the whiteboard or chalkboard. The at home exercises are so important. Now that we are done with our five months if my kids focus starts to get bad I pop in a couple days of home exercises and I swear it helps refresh their brain. My kids used to fidget a lot or bite their nails and it is so minimal now that it’s not even anything I focus on anymore. Oh and clothes…..they are way better at textures and wearing things that aren’t exactly like they like them. As I sit here and write this review, I am noticing more and more the changes that they have made. I will say it is hard to see the changes as you’re going through the program unless they are really big ones or you are really paying attention to their progress. Then after they’re done, you’ll see more And I do believe after this next year of my kids implementing all that they have learned and are able to apply it in class we will see dramatic improvements. All in all we loved the staff, the scheduling was easy when we needed to make changes, and everyone is so friendly if you want to chat it up in the waiting area. I would highly recommend BB for any parents looking for some help with focus, anxiety, not wanting to medicate a child or for slowing down a fast working Brian. We did it! We are thankful we spent the money, time and dedication it took for the whole family to achieve this and we hope this review helps any parents looking for a place to help with their kids development!

10/10 Highly recommend Brain Balance! We were so well taken care of during our year in house that my son, though ready to be done, cried at the thought of missing his coaches. The changes we have seen in him over the last year have been exactly what we were looking for - higher threshold for frustration, gets along better with his peers, his willingness to try new things (including foods) has increased, he has thrived in the classroom, and his athletic ability has blossomed.

Brain Balance helped my daughter immensely with her ADHD difficulties. Staying on task, developing friendships, managing her schedule, they’ve all vastly improved since attending. I can’t recommend it enough. The staff is so friendly and caring at the Denton location! If you’re having trouble figuring out what to do for your kiddo, consider Brain Balance in Denton!

I attended Brain Balance several years ago. I can not express what a difference it made in my life. I really struggled in school, which started impacting my health with anxiety and headaches. Brain Balance helped everything come together for me and after the Program I felt like the chains were lifted. I was able to finish High School with great success and I feel so much more confident in all areas of my life. I am so thankful for what the Brain Balance Denton Team did for me. It's been many years since I finished Program and I feel like I just keep getting stronger!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brain Balance in Denton. My daughter came in struggling with grades, confidence, and coordination and is now completely thriving and making amazing gains in her school work and athletic abilities. This program changed the course of her life and I am so grateful I found a solution to help our daughter after years of searching for solutions.
