Without going into *too much* detail; the treatment I received from Brain Health Hawaii was life altering. If you are open minded and willing to endure the multimodal challenges of personal development authentically, Dr. Kiefer and team are willing to match your effort in kind. For less involved issues, please refer to the plethora of practicing psychologists. They have bandaids and tissues at the ready.

Dr. Chad Imanaka is hands down the best psychiatrist I’ve ever worked with. He’s thoughtful, nonjudgmental, and truly listens. What stood out most to me is how much he respected my real-life stressors and not just symptoms to treat with medications. When I faced a difficult situation at work, Dr. Imanaka didn’t hesitate to advocate for me. He helped with timely documentation, never downplayed my experience, and always made sure I understood my options without pushing anything I wasn’t ready for. He’s incredibly responsive, compassionate, and professional. I never felt rushed or dismissed during our appts. He’s also one of the very few psychiatrists I’ve had who actually engages like a full human being, not just a clipboard with a prescription pad. For the last two years he has been treating my ADHD and insomnia, I have always felt supported with genuine care and respect. Seems like they don't actually want me to do the treatment, and keep saying if we find a drug that will help, maybe we don't need to. Might look elsewhere for help and if I don't find it I'll make other plans...

I’ve struggled with PTSD, anxiety, TBIs, and depression for years. I had a major relapse a couple of years ago, due to several family members passing away within 6 months, and other COVID related problems. I got back on medications and therapy, but they weren’t working. I started the TMS treatment with Dr. Keifer in June, and for the first time in years, I feel great. I feel HAPPY 🌻🌻🌷🌷🌈🌈🏖️🏖️ and hopeful to continue this treatment. The rest of the staff at the Kahala location have been amazing to include Dr. Imanaka. I’m very grateful to this team of healers 🙏🏽🙏🏽.

I completed an at-home sleep study through Brain Health Hawaii at the request of a provider. The staff was quick to respond to phone calls and emails. They were helpful in providing information needed for a referral with my insurance to ensure coverage for the study. Pick up was quick and easy as well. Some feedback would be that they did not have the correct information for the type of insurance I had, only for another type from the same insurer which caused confusion for my PCP and me. The device is disposable and I was told I could dispose of it but was not informed I could send the box in to the distributor for collection for "green" disposal and I believe that information would have been highly beneficial if Brain Health Hawaii informed patients at pick up. They are in the middle of a move of locations so I did get a bit lost because I went to the original location and not the new one. I also was unsure if the at-home kit uploaded the information and it was properly received without calling in myself. It was received but I would suggest some form of contact to patients would be helpful so there are no issues. Overall, my experience was positive and I will proceed with the results with my provider.
