Brandhorst Specialized Therapy

Brandhorst has been such a blessing to my infant. At 3mo we came for tongue tie therapy. We then needed to come for occupational therapy to address some muscle delays. Both Lindsey and Traci have been fantastic.

"Angie was my son's Occupational Therapist. She was great with my son, and he has shown much improvement. She is patient and connects well with the children. You can tell that she cares about her work and takes the children's progress seriously. My son has made great strides, and I cannot recommend Brandhorst enough."

My daughter loved her therapy sessions here so much that it was hard to get her to leave when we were done! I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone I know.

We have had several speech therapists over the last few years for my daughter, and Jen at Brandhorst has BY FAR been the best one! She is excellent at troubleshooting and working with your child's individual needs. I can't recommend her enough!

We referred by our pediatrician for our son's sensory issues with eating a variety of foods (given his level 1 autism spectrum diagnosis). The staff here has been phenomenal with helping us find strategies to expand his palette. In addition to OT we have worked with speech therapist as well to help him. Their care and concern working with our son and family has been top notch. Would recommend this place without a doubt to any families looking for help in the area speech and OT needs! We are proud to have them as part of our sons "team" EDIT 3/1/2024: I unfortunately cannot highly recommend this place anymore. Our other son who needed speech services worked with one of the therapists during his kindergarten school hours at school (a welcome benefit as a mom of multiple children that they were able to offer this service during his kindergarten school hours). After several months of working with my child, the therapist emails me (no phone call) out of nowhere and says she can no longer see my son for speech because of some issues of getting him engaged in his therapy time at school. This was the first time I had heard there was an issue and if that information was communicated to me ahead of time from the therapist, I would have been able to address issues of keeping my child engaged. Both myself, the parent, nor the teacher at school, knew that he was becoming disengaged during the sessions. Not knowing any of this information was super disappointing and frustrating and then to hear that said therapist is cancelling future visits with zero heads up is even more unsettling. Never once did the therapist call or email me with any of this information. Additionally, the therapist never gave me status reports of what they were working on since she works with him during school hours. Another opportunity missed to help a parent reinforce strategies at home. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place anymore to parents -- this situation was handled so poorly. As a mom who tries to advocate so hard for her children, getting them help when there is an issue, addressing problems when they need addressing, and wants to work in concert with therapists and teachers I am so so outraged that this was allowed to happen.

The staff was incredible helping my son with summer speech therapy and occupational therapy. His speech has greatly improved and he was able to finally hold a pencil and scissors right after occupational therapy. Angie was so good with my son, I didn't want to stop the occupational therapy with her, but had to as my son had essentially graduated in his special needs.

I was referred to Lindsey because my 8 week old was having issues eating. She was great with my daughter and suggested we go to Dr. Molly Bremen to release her tongue and lip tie. Lindsey provided so much great information on the ties as well as stretches to do with my daughter. Both places were WONDERFUL and a pleasure to work with. Quick to get scheduled and friendly staff. 🙂 Would recommend 100%!
