Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
We saw Lydia Jaunet, LCSW. She was abrasive, rushed, and judgmental and had us talk about our daughter as if she was not there, completely ignoring her presence. Upon leaving the appointment our eight-year-old turned to us and said "How did she get that job? who interviewed her? I thought those people were supposed to care." As parents we have worked hard to address our daughter's psychosocial needs and came to Ms. Jaunet looking for support, instead she raised her voice with harsh tone and said "it sounds like this is a parenting problem, not a kid problem, there is nothing 1:1 therapy with your daughter will do." We are educated and intentional about our interactions with our daughter, we are also aware of our shortcomings which was why we sought help. Instead we were humiliated and dismissed in front of our daughter. It was a nightmare and all of us cried afterward. Then got a large bill (of course) which was salt in the wounds. Leaving this review to spare another family this pain.
Dr. Brennan has her family writing 5 star reviews. This clinic is awful. They hire anyone off the street. BCBAs are inappropriately engaging with the RBTs. Tameka Carraway doesn’t answer emails. Just a mess of a business.
Unethical and Deceptive—This Place is a Scam I had a horrible experience with Brennan Behavior Group, specifically with Lydia Jaunet. She played a major role in me losing custody of my child by making false accusations against me without any evidence. Lydia Jaunet falsely claimed that I hit my daughter and left a bruise, yet she never reported it to law enforcement, never took pictures, and never provided any proof to support her claim. If she truly believed a child was in danger, why didn’t she follow the mandatory reporting laws? Because it was a lie. Instead, she used her position to manipulate the situation and push a false narrative, leading to parental alienation and devastating consequences. This facility is nothing but a scam. Instead of acting ethically and professionally, they favor one side, disregard due process, and make life-altering recommendations without forensic evaluations or proper evidence. If you’re looking for real help, stay far away from this place. I would never trust Brennan Behavior Group with any serious psychological matters—especially anything involving child custody. If I could give zero stars, I would. I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional and unethical behavior I experienced with Brennan’s Behavioral. I had no idea that Lydia Jaunet’s own son was dating my father’s granddaughter from his first marriage—an obvious conflict of interest that was never disclosed to me. Even more concerning, Lydia openly supports a relationship between a man in his 40s and a 22-year-old who began dating him at 19 and lives under the same roof as my ex-husband, despite them not being married. Despite all of this, Lydia still felt comfortable recommending that I should not have even supervised visitation with my own child. This recommendation makes absolutely no sense, especially considering what I later discovered on my daughter’s phone: videos of the 22-year-old girlfriend driving recklessly, speeding with the windows down, and blasting music while my minor child was in the car. Lydia saw no issue with this behavior. The whole situation felt biased, inappropriate, and influenced by outside relationships—especially since Lydia was paid thousands of dollars by my ex-husband to testify in court. In my opinion, this is not the standard of care any parent or child deserves. At this point, I believe Lydia needs supervision herself. A therapist who cannot recognize conflicts of interest or unsafe behavior should not be advising courts on parental rights.
Our son has been at BBG for 9 months now, and our entire family couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible people we’ve been blessed to work with—namely Abby Schwab and Kevin Smith. Every day, I thank God for the two of them. Not only have they changed our son’s life, but also transformed the dynamic of our home. Abby is, without a doubt, the most thorough, organized, research-driven, and data-oriented professional we’ve ever met. She consistently keeps us informed about our son’s progress and often goes out of her way to make sure we fully understand his personalized protocols. A few times Abby has even personally created learning materials in her spare time to send home with us. She has such a beautiful connection with my son and even checks in just to let us know when he’s having a great day and sends a photo of him, which means the world to us. Kevin possesses a level of patience, compassion, and genuine care that is truly remarkable. As the parent of a child with autism, one of my greatest fears has always been the possibility that my son could be mistreated and unable to communicate that to us. That fear was calmed the moment we saw the incredible bond he shares with Kevin. There have been days when my son has had such an amazing time with Kevin that he cries out his name as we drive away from the clinic. That connection they share is the result of Kevin’s consistency, kindness, and the trust he has built with our child. It’s apparent that Kevin goes far beyond what is included in his job description and we are so thankful. Words will never fully express how much we love BBG and the absolute angels who work with our son each day. I wish I could give them 20 stars.
Our experience with Brennan Behavior Group has been exceptionally positive. My nephew has been receiving full-time ABA therapy at this facility, and the progress he has made has been truly remarkable. He has developed strong, trusting relationships with both his technicians and his BCBA, and he consistently looks forward to his sessions. His communication abilities have significantly improved, and he now engages more comfortably with his peers. We’ve seen substantial growth in his social and adaptive skills.
This place has changed our lives. My son has attended ABA full time there for about a year and a half and I he loves going. He’s really connected with his techs and BCBA. He talks so much more and plays with other children. His social skills have come a LONG way. I only regret not sending him here sooner.
