I cannot recommend. Some good therapists, but the place is run like an animal farm. Very unprofessional.

Working with Emily has been a blast and Megan has been completely helpful through the transition of insurance and for general information throughout. They keep up with authorizations for the insurance plans and everything. Completely recommend for therapy for the kiddos.

We love sensory kids!!! Emily and our little one really connected and became fast friends. Thanks to sensory kids our 2 year old is very confident, more independent and comfortable with new things!

Amazing facilities, therapists, and approach. It’s so developmentally appropriate and focused on the needs of the individual child. I wish every child could have this. But for children with higher needs, like my 5 year old, it can make a profound difference in their ability to move through life in a way that work for them and the people around them. (sometimes the difference dramatic and sometimes subtle, but it is fundamentally positive).

Sensory Kids has changed our sons' lives! We feel so grateful to have this resource which families travel across the country to use in our own backyard!

Lisa Porter and the staff at Sensory Kids are a breath of fresh air for families of kids with sensory needs. Lisa is always open and inviting to kids despite any unique challenges. Her support for parents is invaluable and really, I can't find her level of understanding anywhere else. Our son sees both Lisa and Melissa and he is always excited for an appointment with either professional! He leaves sessions "feeling calmer" and we leave feeling like "finally" someone gets our family's needs. Without Sensory Kids, I am afraid we would feel quite alone and even less understood. The OT services offered are very cutting edge and targets each child's very individual challenges. Kids feel respected and listened to at Sensory Kids and like it is "their place" -where they are skillfully provided therapy while the kids feel like it is a super good time! Great place for kids and their caregivers

Sensory Kids is a wonderful place for occupational therapy; we discovered this clinic last fall and have noticed increased regularity, better motor planning, and less aimless wandering with our autistic child. His fantastic OT never forces him to do anything he does not want to or is not ready to do, but manages to push him out of his comfort zone, too. She always has infinite patience with him when he is in his low arousal state, and our son is always regarded and spoken to with the utmost respect. Everyone at Sensory Kids is extremely caring and we feel very good bringing him there.
