Dr. Liu is fantastic! She listens extremely well always gives me a chance to ask questions. She specifically has helped me understand my ADHD extremely well. On of the things that has always been great is that she has given me the options and then helped to guide me in a direction by asking questions, Ultimately let me decide on the direction I’d like to take in treatment. I recommend Dr Liu all the time! Definitely call Brighter Minds and schedule something if you have been looking for help!

I have had three children seen at this practice by Dr. Liu, and all three have had excellent experiences. What impressed me most about her approach is that she truly looks at the whole child—not just prescribing medication. She took the time to ask about and offer guidance on sleep, physical activity, school, friendships, and overall well-being. During our time with Dr. Liu, she also helped us find therapists she personally recommended, including ADHD and OCD specialists. Whenever we had additional questions, she either had thoughtful answers or took the time to research and follow up with us by email, which made us feel genuinely supported. When medication was used, it was clearly an appropriate and thoughtful intervention. Doses were adjusted as needed, and we felt confident that Dr. Liu carefully monitored our children’s overall health throughout the time they were prescribed medication. She also offered genetic testing to help guide medication selection for the children who needed it, and I believe this played a key role in our success with treatment. Two of my children have since “graduated” from care with Dr. Liu. They are both thriving and have successfully weaned off their medications. My third child was evaluated and did not require any mental health medication. Having a trusted professional provide that reassurance gave us great peace of mind, and Dr. Liu offered exactly that.
We love Dr. Liu! She truly cares for her patients and takes the time to listen and ask questions in order to figure out the best treatment plan. She is knowledgeable and kind. We're so glad to have found her!
Dr Liu is very knowledgeable and has been incredibly helpful to assist us with our son. After meeting with her we discovered that the medications my son was on were not recommended or really helpful in what we were trying to achieve. Doctor Liu is so good with my kids. She is so knowledgeable about mental health medications and takes the time to listen and assess what each of my kids need. She also uses genetic testing to make sure we are using the meds that will be best for their bodies. She is so good at getting back to me quickly when I need a refill or have a question. She is amazing and I trust her with my children's mental health.
