Initially thought this practice was fine, but then the therapist I was seeing, Karen Camp, started speaking about legal matters that she had no authority to speak on, and continued to voice her own opinions on matters she was not qualified to speak on. Additionally, when i confronted her, she denied any impropriety and went on to discuss how this misunderstanding is my fault. She took advantage of her position of power and when I was most vulnerable, sided against me in a deeply personal legal battle. She caused damage to me and has no sense of responsibility whatsoever. I'd like to add that the RI Department of Health DID NOT, as this business claims below, do a full background investigation into this. Disappointment all around.

This place is amazing, the process to get therapy is very fast and easy and they have appointments right away depending on the clinician that you pick. Very communicative about any concerns with the procedures and nice! I really recommend checking this place out if you are looking to receive therapy fast and efficient!

Nellie at Brightside has helped me make sense of the chaos that is my life and provided me new tools to help me function day to day. She is a great listener and breaks things down to language that makes sense and has helped me make improvements to my life. I would definitely recommend Brightside to my friends and family.

I’ve been seeing Karen at Brightside Behavioral Health for approximately 7 months. This is my first experience seeing a therapist and I’m so grateful I made the first step, and that I was paired with Karen. She is thoughtful, a great listener, and has a way of making you feel comfortable. Even on days when I arrive feeling like I have nothing to say, the time with Karen flies by. It brings me comfort to know that even on a bad week, I have our conversations to look forward to. If you’re not sure if therapy is for you, take a chance and give Brightside a shot!

I’ve been with Karen, my therapist, for over a year now. She is one of the best therapist I have had. I usually don’t stick around this long if I’m not comfortable or get what I need. Karen has helped me through my health ailments, a divorce, depression, and basically having my whole world turn upside down. She is that person I trust whole heartedly, who I feel comfortable telling what’s on my mind without judgment. Someone who points me in the right direction when I fall off the tracks. She is absolutely amazing at helping me in this journey of life.
