The workers are either lazy, or inept to service the people who desperately in need of help And the workers promise you help put just let your case in the desk and take care of it never in an expedient time to assist you correctly. They have no independent overseers to maintain the performance. So your stuck with being diligent yourselves. It's a shame to having to exist with inexperienced social workers, out people that just don't care if your family goes hungry. They have to hire a liason. Dinner people leave there in years and stressed beyond measure for no reason.
Worst place to get help from. They also want way to much information. Most of the workers don't care about you and your needs. They're worse than a hospital who treats you like a number.
Trying to reach my case worker for over 3 weeks, Place is a joke.
How am I supposed to get ahold of somebody to let them know that I got a job and that I have food stamps and needs to be fixed because I got a job

Sending people to shelters and motels for ambush, with no protection from staff or management
Service was adequate was no long wait in line security team was remarkable and protected facility Restrooms were cleaned and shining I had patience and was courteous and was given the same response a peaceful place!!!
Trying to reach anyone on the phone is ridiculous have to wait till 11am to call then call exactly at 11 am and sit on hold for over an hour just to get a rude person who could care less about any sort of situation your in and tell you just wait for a phone call it's been over a month already by time I hear back I won't need any help what a joke guess if your lazy you'll get all the help you can imagine but oh your hours get cut drastically so you try to update and it's crickets no wonder people have such distaste for people who receive help so now here I am currently on hold again for over 25 minutes smh I give up
Why is it that some people who recieve benefits and always recertify early are getting problems with these people?! I recertified early in October. They NEVER CALLED for the recertification interview, and I would gladly call my phone provider to get the call logs and prove it. Then I get a letter in the mail on this past Tuesday stating that I am about to lose my benefits because I missed the recertifier call?! Y'all never called me. No voicemails. No emails. Nothing. And yet I get a letter that I'm going to lose my benefits? I am exempt from the mandated work/volunteer hours based on having 2 kids under 14 and having a pending disability hearing, with a lawyer. I tried to call yesterday and couldn't get through to the call center to handle the recertifier interview. Called today as soon as the call center opened....was on hold for AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES, and then got told "We're having technical difficulties, please try your call again." And got hung up on. After over an hour on hold?! I'm BACK ON HOLD for almost 20 minutes now and still nothing! This call center is ridiculous. Not to mention you can't do ANYTHING with this DSS in person! If you go to one of the locations to ask for help, they direct you to the phones or tell you to use your cell and call the call center! What is the point of having physical locations if they can't DO ANYTHING?!?!?!?!?! I'm just trying to do what they need me to do so I can recertify!
