It really has been alonyg time since I went to family Court It kind of feels good not to be in the troubled life I used to be in when I had to attend the courthouse on a weekly and monthly basis. Today I felt pretty confident in going in so far I didn't know what I needed the ladies behind the counter were excellent , (Police man )Security guards are very respectful and as always the courthouse was clean.
Went to this court so I could have joint custody of my daughter which was granted. I ask the court to inform my babymother to give access to the daycare account to make payment for my daughter, that was denied and off course less than six month later after taking care of my child and all expenses I could, I was put on child support because my baby mother didn’t allow me to pay daycare fee and now I am paying this fool $1300 a month and not seeing my daughter. Sorry but this courts system is very broken

They have the worst Judge ever this judge had a Worst The Lawyer everything signed me to Case against my ex the judge let him get away with him putting his hand on me I want Justice for what he did to me i think he should be in jail what he did to me
A literal joke. Lazy and impotent, won't even enforce their own orders. For 2 years they've allowed my kids to be alienated and stolen from me all over again despite my numerous petitions and impeccable records. Legal guardian for the kids, ended up working for their mom. Y didn't let my attorney appear w me for trial. I came back on another trial n he gives her everything she wants (no visits w dad) without even going on the record. Just say goodbye to your kids now because there's no justice to be had at this place.
This is for my experience with The Clerk, Melissa at the Brooke County Family Court Office. She is an Angel. So kind and patient. She has a very soothing and calming voice. She is incredibly professional and explains things In a simple fashion( how I understand) I wanted to take some time to let everyone know that this woman has helped me in more ways than one! Melissa is absolutely amazing! She is a wonderful first face to see when you walk in.
Not one person who works for the court truly cares to hear the truth vs the b.s. All the lawyers seem to do is try to talk you out of your case so it can end faster knowing they get paid per case. Lawyers should fight for their clients not talk them into letting go. The judges don't listen to people, more especially people who petition when the other party is detrimental to children's lives. It's sickening and some internal investigation on a federal level needs to happen because the whole system here is very screwed up and it's wrong. I don't see nearly as many good reviews for them ANYWHERE and it should suggest something needs to be looked into.
