Building Blocks Pediatric Therapy

We absolutely loved Building Blocks. We ended up searching for a new ABA/SLP/OT center after safety concerns at our last center and someone had recommend Building Blocks to us. We toured a few centers in the area and felt like Building Blocks had the absolute best facility in many ways. It is very spacious, clean, SAFE and truly designed for kids to have fun. The staff at BB is amazing. AnnaMaria, who runs the front office and does scheduling, is so kind and responsive. She is always willing to help and has great communication. Their ABA program/set-up was unlike any other center we have used/experienced. All of their techs are waiting for the kiddos with smiling faces every day and each one truly makes your kid feel like they are the most special kid ever. BCBA Sara was so patient and caring with our child. She helped our child grow and progress in many ways. Their therapy staff, OT Hannah and SLP Marissa were awesome. They both helped challenge our child while being extremely understanding and kind of any limitations. BB is truly the best pediatric therapy center we have used in the area, from their staff, to facilities, to day to day operations they just do it right.

We absolutely love it here at Building Blocks. My 3 year old son used to do speech therapy here with Ms. Marlee who left last year but he loved her! He now does occupational therapy with Ms. Amelia & we absolutely love her and her softness. The ability to make him feel comfortable with her & how loving and caring she is towards him. As a mom she’s showed me so much grace, compassion, and has overall been very supportive & positive. She’s definitely become family to my family of 3. As it has only been about 3 months of working with her, we have still seen improvement with his patience and his ability to focus more which I love! I can’t wait to see the progress for him. The lady at the front desk loves Cru as well! She’s always chatting with him and he looks forward to his little sucker after each session. Thank you for having such a delicate and nurturing staff building blocks for our precious babies.

We love Building Blocks. Our son really thrived at this location, and also after we moved to Auburn Hills for convenience. The Building Blocks team is so friendly, warm, and welcoming. They treated our son like he was their own. We loved that they offered Santa Claus visits for the kids during the holiday season. It gave us a moment we never thought we’d have with our son. Bless them all! Timmy misses you, and so do we!

Our experience with Building Blocks Pediatric Therapy was exceptional. Our daughter attended the clinic for speech therapy and by the time she was registered for preschool, they had her not only caught up, but ahead of her age appropriate speech related goals. Our daughter is shy, especially in new environments, but always went running up to her speech therapist as soon as they opened to door to greet her, excited for each session. Her therapist was not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient and engaging. She took the time to assess our daughter's specific needs and developed a personalized therapy plan that she would review with us often. She would give us things to work on after each session and would always keep us in the loop with what they worked on each day we were there. The clinic's environment is clean, welcoming, and very child-friendly, equipped with so many different themed rooms and resources that make therapy sessions enjoyable for their kids. There was always someone sitting at the front desk to greet us and answer any questions we had from schedule changes to insurance related questions. We're so thankful our daughter was able to attend speech therapy here and receive such great individualized care.

I would highly recommend Building Blocks to anyone who is looking for exceptional Occupational Therapy. My daughter saw Hannah for sensory issues she was having and from the very start, Hannah was so kind and knowledgeable and made my daughter feel so comfortable with her. All the staff seemed so friendly when we were there, including the owner, Chelsea, who was present during my daughter’s initial assessment. She was extremely thorough and explained everything to us and answered all our questions. We saw much improvement after utilizing the tools Hannah provided us with. We plan to use Building Blocks in the future if any of our other children require any form of therapy! They are amazing!

Both of my toddlers just started attending here. So far we love it. Everything and everyone has been so nice, friendly, clean and accommodating.

We had a great experience with Mary. My son needed physical therapy for learning to crawl. Mary was professional, empathetic and made each session enjoyable. We saw significant improvements in my son’s mobility and strength. I highly recommend Mary and Pediatric Building Blocks.

Building Blocks is a neuroaffirming therapy center that truly supports the children and the parents. The work, dedication, love, support, care, and evidence-based education that goes into each child’s experience is like nothing else I’ve ever found. It was incredibly important to us to find a center that supported our child in a neuroaffirming environment that allows him to be who is he and have a child-led play based therapy. We heavily researched (and vetted) Building Blocks because it was important for us to feel that our child would be safe and loved while in their care. I can tell you right now that BB exceeded all expectations. The facilities are amazing- clearly set up for child-led play with sensory rooms, climbing structures, imaginative play, a huge array of toys and play structures to meet the needs of all children. BB is the place to go if you’re looking for exceptional support and care.

Building Blocks was amazing! LeeAnne was very knowledgeable in oral motor dysfunction and worked with us on all the idiosyncrasies that came up throughout our time at Building Blocks!
