Butterfly Effects - ABA Therapy for Autism

My son went to therapy here for two years before they ended his services abruptly . At first , he made a lot of progress . However , as time progressed, we started noticing that he wasn’t making any progress. Up until I mentioned medication to help him focus , everything was okay . I noticed that after meds were mentioned it was a push to do the meds . All of a sudden all of his regular behaviors were problem behaviors . All of a sudden they couldn’t focus on targets due to constant redirecting. I knew they were getting ready to end his services when they started emailing me about everything , basically creating a paper trail . I always had a feeling of discernment towards Sammy . She doesn’t make good eye contact which lets me know that she knew she was being low down . She made up this extravagant story about being caught in traffic the day they wanted to tell us his services ended so she didn’t have to be there . I liked prahkya but her hands may be just as dirty . As far as the rbts , I liked them for the most part , especially Mr Charles. My son responded well to him .

My son has been receiving therapy from Buttefly Effects located in Cary NC for the past 3 or 4 years, and I attribute majority of his developmental growth to them. Their approach to include families in step by step training as your child moves to different goals really shows the care; making sure our children have success. They recently held a Trunk or Treat event and the atmosphere was so joyful and allowed everyone to be who they are without judgment. We really had a blast! Butterfly Effects in Cary NC has truly become apart of our family. Thank you so much Butterfly Effects!!!!!

I was really hesitant about putting my son in an ABA program, but Butterfly Effects facilitated my decision. I toured the center, and loved the energy and environment set up. I love that they incorporated a school feel to the center. Keshawn, the director, was very kind and understanding of all my concerns. My son has been with Butterfly Effects for about 10 months and we love it! My son enjoys his days at the center. I can tell the staff deeply care for my son. His BCBA is amazing as well. Butterfly Effects is great! 😊

Awful experience, they completely wasted my time and my son urgently needs therapy. I remember asking them “does my son qualify for therapy” and they said yes. So I submitted all the required documents and clinical reports to them and instead of reading it they sent it through insurance approval and that takes forever. At any rate a month later Shanice was like okay we were approved for insurance let me just check with clinical to see where your son would go. I get a call back saying “oh yeah we can’t accept your son bc of his history. Like okay why didn’t they tell me this at the very beginning?????? Stay away from this practice they are useless

Such an amazing place. My son just recently graduated from ABA. He was there for a short time but definitely saw a huge improvement. The staff were great. He loved going in every day.

This clinic has truly been a godsend for our family. My son has been receiving services here for the past year, and while we’re heartbroken to leave due to relocation, we’re so grateful for the time we’ve had. Our BCBA, Abby Lee, has shown unwavering kindness and dedication, always supporting our family with compassion and professionalism. Our RBTs Tiana, Jada, Iyairkis, and Justin, have been absolutely incredible. Their patience, enthusiasm, and genuine care made all the difference in my son’s progress. Every single RBT at this clinic is clearly devoted to helping and teaching, and it shows in everything they do. We couldn’t have asked for a better team. Highly recommend this clinic to any family seeking ABA services!

I went for a tour and the place is very clean, everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. After seeing 4 other centers I decided to go ahead and move forward with them. Anyone who is searching for a place for their child, this place has an open concept but also has private areas like sensory rooms and places to nap. I really liked the setup! I went to another place where the kids were running wild all over the place and another where they had these small private rooms for each kid with no windows. This place is by far the best I have seen and I feel confident about sending my son here 🙏🏻
