Unorganized, Lazy, Liars! My child was going here for ST & OT for a while. I've delt with so many different therapists from one week to the next. Many of them don't stay there for long. My son has not had any services in over 2 months. I have been calling every other week or so and being told "we don't have any openings" for my available days & times, (which I have made work arrangements for upon him initially starting here) anyways... The last appointment my son was able to get was suspicious. I called the office like I normally do and was told the same thing. When I asked about him getting his permanent schedule back I was xfrd to the main office AND given an appointment (his local office said they didn't have availability for) that same week. Since then I have not been able to get another appointment, just the same "no openings" lines coupled with "I'll give you a call if/when there's an opening or someone cancels", I wait a week +/- some days and call again. Last week I got an appointment for 8am-10am for both ST & OT, I get to the appointment only to be told "we don't have him scheduled" I pushed back saying "yes y'all do, I called last week and was scheduled for today" only to then be told "he's been discharged because we haven't heard from you".... I am highly annoyed and frustrated it's 8:00 in the morning and 40°f I didn't just make this up on a whim, wake up 6:30am, disturbe my 4 year old out his sleep to drag him down here for no reason!!! They didn't call or send any mail correspondence starting that he would be or had been discharged, and even if mistakenly given the appointment after being discharged I was still not notified! Very unprofessional! I asked the rude lady at the front desk for the number to the main office and she says "I'll have them give you a call" I say no ma'am I want the number now I will call them myself" smh
As a new family seeking speech therapy services, our first interaction was with the front desk/check-in staff—and unfortunately, it set the tone in the worst way. The individual we encountered was rude, unwelcoming, and dismissive. First impressions matter, especially in a pediatric and therapeutic environment where families may already feel vulnerable or anxious. Because of this experience, we chose not to proceed and left without services being rendered. I hope leadership takes this feedback seriously, as clinical excellence can be overshadowed quickly by poor customer experience at the front door.
Will never recommend ‼️ The staff is so unprofessional ‼️
Not happy. Go somewhere else. If you have BCBS. And they tell you that it’s covered. Don’t listen to them… for 1 thing. They didn’t help my son. At all. The last appt we went to they just let him Hide under the table. Charged us for it. And didn’t come out for us to get him to come out from under it. This was after him going there for months… then after we quit. they tell us the Blue cross wasn’t covering it. So we get a bill for over $1,000. UNPROFESSIONAL…. We get a bill for this. As far as Capital City Therapy goes. I chose to Pay 10$ a month. Have fun waiting on that money. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE that will tell you the truth. Cap City, you can respond to this and tell me who I need to call that has some sense and can fix this. Next review is going to Facebook and yelp.
My 4yr old was recommended here by her doctor for speech so far my daughter has been doing more sign language and talking a little bit even it’s just random things out the blue her Therapist Ms. Parker is awesome!
Some of the therapists have an issue with punctuality. I wouldn't recommend this practice at all. They didn't communicate about issues with insurance which was part of the reason my child will miss the next 3 weeks and possibly lose progress. This place is all about numbers, how many kids they can get in and out. It seems like they overlap appointments because my child never received his full appointment time they were billing for because they were with other clients.
They really take the time to learn your child and figure out what works best for them! I’m so pleased with my child’s progress and the constant support and tips we received before and after his tongue tie release. I recommend this place for anyone who wants the best care and service provided for their child’s fundamental speech-related needs.
I was very concerned about my sons lack of speech with many people saying it was just because “he’s a boy” “he’s a second child” and while those things may play a part, I knew I wanted him evaluated and my concerns heard. From the moment we had our first evaluation, I knew I made the right choice in selecting Capital City Therapy Group. We’ve had a great experience with all the staff at the Greenville office and have spoken to many others in the billing and scheduling department as well. My concerns have been heard and I’ve seen such improvement in my son’s speech which I owe to the dedicated speech therapists at CCTG! 10/10 recommend!!! Special thanks to Molly for loving on and helping my son grow!
