Professional, Friendly, Structured, Goal Focused Exercises. I have nothing but good things to say about Capital Speech Therapy and Elaine. My child had an easy time talking to Elaine as she is very warm and friendly. Elaine adeptly pinpointed my child's issues with speaking and developed very specific goals. My husband and I saw noticeable improvement in our child within a few months with just 1x weekly sessions. I highly recommend Elaine and Capital Speech Therapy!

It's hard to express in words how thankful we were for finding Elaine! My son had delayed speech and was diagnosed with an IEP in Kindergarten and received speech therapy 1x a week with the school that year. His intelligibility was around 60% for a long list of sounds and blends. After his summer sessions with Elaine (who he just loved and asked to go more often than we were scheduled) he entered the first grade with greater confidence and very noticeably improved speech. His IEP now reads that he is "98% intelligible with a familiar adult" and he only produces speech sound errors in 5 sounds! We know without a doubt that Elaine was a tremendous help in his improvement when entering first grade.
