They did more damage to me than they did good.

I recently recieved my chemical evaluation but my concerns are is that my husband who is currently incarcerated has been waiting for over a month to get his results back and hasn't been able to reach out to anyone about the situation. and he had his eval completed before I did and due to this he is unable to get the help he needs and deserves until this evaluation comes through.

I worked with capstone counseling for approximately 9 months. I was receiving counseling for, cptsd (complex post-traumatic stress disorder) ADHD, OCD, anxiety, and depression. I worked with markie, upon starting counseling, I had a very open mind, and ultimately my goal was to better my mental health. This experience had left me with a loss of faith in counseling. I can honestly say that in all the years of counseling I've received, I've never once felt the need to leave a review. After receiving care with markie, it took me months afterwards to find another counselor. In the sessions, consistently felt the need to validate the experiences that I've gone through. Even though I had consistently stated facts, and numerous experiences, alongside personal testimonies to the experiences that I've had, it was invalidated. I was persecuted for my spiritual beliefs simply because I believe myself to be an empath. After getting a diagnosis, it became very clear that her personal, religious, and spiritual beliefs were intolerable, and without understanding. I was told that thinking of myself as an empath, aligned with the idea of having powers. I was very distraught, upset, and conflicted about how to proceed. I proceeded by finding numerous articles, which had educational, and spiritual experiences, to back what I was saying. I sent them, hoping to find understanding, and perhaps give perspective. I'd ask if she could read them, before the next session, or at the very least educate herself with understanding upon these things. I sent articles, regarding mirror touch synthesia, counselors, and psychiatrists, that also claimed themselves to be empaths. I do you have to commend the receptionist, they're very friendly, inviting, and make you feel very very welcome. That's pretty much all I had to say. I just wanted to give people an idea of the experience that I'd been through. Sincerely Kai

My brother received an evaluation through capstone over 4 months ago & the court still doesn't have the results. His lawyer has been ghosted completely by the therapist. Why?????

Well I called and it was 3 weeks to go in. They say that supervision and therapy will call me. Therapy called me. Supervision first Information then Thursday the first time for my daughter so will see.

I previously went here for therapy and one of the counselors shared information of what we talked about with another client she had. This had happened in 2017. Just recently my wife and I put my son in therapy and we were hoping the place had a change of heart and couldn’t have been more wrong. The therapist today told my 7 year old son how babies were made (in detail). I would never recommend this place for anyone. Permanently ruined my trust in therapy!
