I am deeply disappointed with the treatment my loved one received from the administrative staff at Carolina Behavioral Care, specifically from a staff member named Tiffany. My loved one, who had waited over a month for a crucial appointment, arrived at the location provided in the confirmation email, only to find no one there. When she called the office for clarification, she was informed, without prior notice, that the appointment was virtual. There was no link provided, and Tiffany was extremely rude when explaining that the link would be sent out at the time of the appointment, with no further guidance. The situation escalated when Tiffany later called my loved one back. My loved one, not recognizing her voice, expressed her frustration about the earlier rudeness, to which Tiffany revealed she had been the person on the previous call. Instead of offering solutions or trying to help, Tiffany curtly stated she would cancel the appointment and refund the payment—ignoring the fact that my loved one had already waited over a month for this appointment and needed immediate care. This dismissive, unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, especially for a facility that deals with individuals in need of mental health care. The lack of empathy and refusal to provide a reasonable solution is deeply concerning. Carolina Behavioral Care needs to ensure that their administrative staff, particularly Tiffany, are better trained in customer service and patient care. This type of treatment could easily deter patients from seeking the help they need. I sincerely hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously and addresses this issue with the urgency and care it deserves.
