We worked with Jess at Catalyst for speech therapy and she was fantastic - engaged, fun, and knowledgeable.

Jess helped us so much with parenting coaching strategies for our neurodivergent child. The clinic is phenomenal and a place my child feels truly seen, at home, and regulated. 10/10 recommend, and additionally the clinic is gender affirming, so it feels like a space welcome to all. The equipment is state of the art, my kiddo loves it more than the playground. Give Catalyst Therapies a try if your little one has sensory needs like mine 🙏🏽

I’ve been working with Carli for 2 months on techniques to lower my pitch and improve my resonance, and I’m very happy with my results! She is very skilled and easy going and makes this introvert feel at ease. It’s kinda like I’m visiting with a friend. Would highly recommend.

I have been receiving feminizing speech therapy remotely with Dr. Carli Barrios at Catalyst Therapies for several months. I'm very pleased with her supportive and encouraging approach and highly recommend her. Feminizing my voice on my own wasn't at all easy for me (despite what online videos claim) so I sought out Dr. Carli. While still challenging, now I'm seeing continuous progress. She really is an expert and constantly gives such vital feedback and provides specific exercises to address my specific issues and make improvements. Catalyst Therapies staffer Morgan has always been on top of everything. They researched my insurance co-pay before I started and worked directly with my insurance. With insurance it has been very affordable, priceless even. I have not achieved the feminine voice I desire yet, but I am confident that with sustained effort I will. I highly recommend Catalyst and Carli Barrios to anyone transitioning and in search of speech therapy.

I received feminizing speech therapy as part of my transition from Catalyst Therapies' therapist Carli Barrios. She is an incredibly talented and supportive therapist. She provides helpful exercises and techniques and while providing realistic goals and helpful feedback. Working with healthcare professions as a transgender person can be incredibly frustrating and dysphoric. Catalyst and Carli, however provided the most positive interactions I have had with medical care since beginning my transition. Furthermore, her rates are significantly lower than her competition and on top of that she is the only therapist who provides transgender speech therapy who works with insurance in our area. In addition, despite being out of network Carli successfully submitted a gap coverage request to my insurance company. I highly recommend Catalyst and Carli Barrios to anyone transitioning and in search of speech therapy. We are truly blessed to have her here in Bellingham.

We started working with Catalyst when they were still moving into their first office. We've grown together. They are THE MOST compassionate group of people and I'm so fortune to have spent the last 4 years with them. They took my oldest son from nearly non-verbal and completely closed off to outgoing, vibrant and eager to read and tell stories! And now with my other son they're doing the same in the year or so they've been working with him. Hands down the most amazing SLPs we've worked with (and we've been through a few programs) and I will be sad when our time to graduate comes. They invest so much into the kiddos, they are flexible with notice and work hard to get your kiddo the best sessions possible... even if that means they get squished into a couch because the shy toddler finds it engaging. :) Now that they've moved locations, they're expanding their community and I'm so incredibly proud of them and what they're already accomplishing. They are a force to be reckoned with and will continue to change/ touch many, many lives for years to come. Thank you Catalyst staff, you have been such an amazing crew and resource for my family and I will forever be grateful for our time together!

I would highly recommend Catalyst to everyone I know! Everyone we have interacted with there has been kind, caring, and overall great. Jess has been a game changer for my son. He was in speech therapy for 2 years before coming here and I have seen so much growth in our time here. Jess really was able to connect with him and figure out how he learns.
