AVOID This Company!!! Do not sign up with C.A.R.D!!! Not professional!!!
It was a process to get started, but CARD in CH has really been helping our son with his behavioral needs and social skills. All in all, I believe it was worth the effort.
Similar experience as others review. No consistency in services and when they don’t have staff they will recommend parent led so they still get paid. In doing so they tell your insurance that ABa isn’t a medical necessity so they don’t have to provide a technician. Their reports are misleading and disingenuous. Avoid Sunrise and Catalight at all costs.
I had a bad experience with the Norco office my son got transferred from Moreno Valley center and I just found out they would put him in a dark room and have him demand for it in his aac device. I understand that sometimes kids on the spectrum can get over stimulated but I didn’t like the technique they used to unwind him he would come home and he would sometimes out of nowhere run to the bathroom and lay their in the dark and I wouldn’t understand where he got this behavior from.
My child just started here not too long ago but he loves everyone here and I could tell it is a great ABA center. Everyone is super helpful and kind. They offered a lot of resources and training in addition to helping your child with ABA service and it's the most resources & knowledge Ive gotten since my son was diagnosed. I think they have a great admin and coporate team as well.
