Centra Pediatric Therapy

I can't speak highly enough of my son's OT Iris. My son had struggled with a severe solid food aversion since he was a baby when we were first paired with Iris; he was only tolerating liquid nutrition. We'd seen numerous therapists at several other facilities who'd tried all different methods to help him, with no discernible progress, leaving them at a loss. Iris was different from the beginning. She took the time to listen to a detailed history of my son's situation, and she asked questions far beyond his eating habits, to really get to know his full picture. I couldn't believe how personalized of a plan she created for my son. She was spot-on in her delivery of therapy, making him instantly comfortable, and she has given me tools to implement at home that create consistency across the board. I'm still amazed that she doesn't know my son outside of therapy, because she speaks to his personality and anxieties and they truly connect. I'm excited to say my son is eating solids now, and even enjoys preparing some of his own food. I highly recommend Iris! Her intuition, kindness, and adaptability make her one-of-a-kind in her field.

Very frustrating to finally get my child in for OT only to have him turned away. What’s even more disappointing is them not being completely truthful about the reason. For being an organization I have heard five multiple presentations about helping the special needs community my experience has been they talk the talk but don’t walk the walk.

Started my son in OT here less than three weeks ago. Received a call he is too loud and the neighboring businesses are complaining at 6pm. Claims it's not just him.. These people do not understand autism. What a waste of my time and my kids time. The karate instructors who don't like that my son has autism and had a meltdown because he left a therapy that was helping him. And he didnt to leave. Horrible people... Ot iris never even tried to work with or understand my son. Do not go here. I will be escalating this.

Therapist Brandon is awesome! He knows how to connect with kids and does not go through the motions like other therapist in the past. This was the fourth place I had brought my son to for feeding therapy and he has made the most progress here by a landslide. My son is also part of the karate program, which has helped him physically and mentally. Sensei Wayne is a great instructor because he not only teaches important self defense skills, but life skills too! I highly recommend Karate for All and Centra Pediatric Therapy!

My son attends Karate for All, and it has been a wonderful experience. It's a great place for kids and teens to learn self-defense, how to handle bullying, and—just as important—have a lot of fun. I highly recommend KFA to any parent looking for a supportive and inclusive environment where their child can grow and feel like part of a group. Sensei Wayne, Michael, and John are all amazing teachers who are truly great with the kids.

Our 8yo son (on the spectrum) has a problem with toe-walking since 2yo. After some discussion with his pediatrician and pushing the physical therapy referral - I wanted to check out Centra Pediatric Therapy since my son goes to Karate 4 All (and we have the staff there). After a year with CPT, I can't say this enough - we love Ms. Nirja! Her professionalism, patience with our son. We see so much improvement in him. He is so proud of his lunges! :) I know he has a long road ahead of him, but I wouldn't want to do this without our PT, Ms. Nirja!

Centra Pediatric Therapy has been instrumental in helping my daughters development in many ways. Such as speech and sensory skills . We really love Jill in speech. And Iris for OT. They have been a godsend to our family. The front office is always so nice and caring. Clean environment and always decorated for the children. I have been to other clinics and there is no where else that compares. My son goes to Karate for All in the same place. Thank you for caring about both of my children’s development. Oh and they also have movie nights and beach days. :)
