I hope this review can help out another parent going through a similar situation. My daughter has been receiving services through this company for a little less than a year. In the beginning they were good, communication was good and the tech who was assigned to my child was great then they removed her for no given reason a little over a month into the program and it took them over 2 months to find a replacement for my child wich as a parent is very disappointing, the hours were promised to be accommodated wich they failed to do so. My child has not had steady services. I feel like I have to contact multiple people just to get answers. I would not recommend this company to anyone, they lack communication, they are not reliable, and some of their staff seem like they just do it for the paycheck and not for the development of the children. As a parent this is extremely frustrating, they claim to be people centered but they are far from that. I've come to a realization that I may have to remove my daughter from this program which is the last thing I wanted to do but to be honest this program has not been consistent.

My son had been a member with cvap since he was two, he is now five almost 6. at the beginning of his services they were phenomenal, they did absolutely excellent work with him I had great feedback from his case manager he had shown a lot of improvement and strides in all of his behaviors that they were working on but then a whole lot of changes were made including the company being bought out by kadient, which if I'm not mistaken was about a year and a half to two years ago (2019 timeframe) and now I have to fight teeth and nails to get any kind of support from them despite them having a very long detailed history of my son's troubled behavior areas. If you're a new parent seeking services for your child let me warn you to stay away from cvap Stockton

I do not recommend you have anything to do with greedy company. My son started out doing the intense therapy. It was far too much for him. So we lowered his hours. They obviously weren't happy because they constantly bugged us to up our hours and if they weren't able to make it on a certain day they would bugged us to make up hours on the weekend and also try to add more. They would tell us the insurance wouldn't allow for less hours. They also started sending mutiple people.  They would use my son's time to train other employees.  He would just sit at table while they talked to each other. Literally waste of his and my time. The charges they'd charge our insurance were insane. I got over 4 bills for the same day. They told us we weren't paying for their employees to get trained but not to sure about that. Either way if they aren't paying attention to my son and doing so on our insurance aren't we paying for it. Charged for reports to be made after termination of their services. But the worst is they sent people that should not deal with children one person raised their voice at my son to get him to do what they wanted. I decided to end services when one of their employees became really short with my son. The supervisors approved of my son eating and drinking if he asked. Because he is well under weight and hardly eats. Was giving my son milk and an employee yanked at my son's arm and told him that's enough.  Every time they wanted my son to come they yanked him by the arm that day. When my husband came home we decided we were done with this place. It's sad they have some really nice ladies working for them that seem to really care, but there are also some employees that should never be allowed to work with children. And also the greedy ones that only care about the money and not your child's well being. Overall this experience has made me against ABA therapy. I don't think it helps.  Look up the real success rate of ABA and the ptsd it causes children. Best decision we ever made to pull him out. Glad I never left my child unsupervised with these people. Zero stars is what they deserve.
