As a parent going into this program there have been more cons them pros. I try my best to work with the higher ups over tedious problems , like court order custody but the staff here are relentless for making up hours and times. For the holidays they give one day off for Thanksgiving and one day off for Christmas and that's it! Asking for more days off is like pulling out your own teeth! Hours of " let me read you are policy" huh emotionless robots work here and couldn't care less about your life or free time .everything amounts to hours and sessions, To these people .They could care less about your child and there progression to getting better. Pros the staff member they send out to do sessions are very kind and do there job good .but the higher ups staff will belittle these employees into doing whatever they want and for there job security they will do it ! So keep that in mind

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible communication. No calls back. Had to sit on hold for 30 mins finally to see whats going on, and only to be told they wont accept my sons medicaid even though I have private insurance as well. Keep ur kids away from this horrible company. Letting my doctors office know as well so they stop sending referrals

Great company, supportive to children and family, communicates, flexible. The BT are great.

I had the absolute worst time at this center due to the center administrator who’s name is Alberto! Long story short it all started when he was not giving my daughter he medication when it was suppose to have it. Along with the bullying he does with parents of color. It’s absolutely sickening. This man had an issues with the aba tech and me and took that out on my child. I myself after being with Centria as long as I was with my kids enrolled in their services, have never seen someone so unprofessionally get away with things that shouldn’t be tolerated. I’ve caught this man in lie time and time again. And let’s not mention Centria felt no need to announce when one of their own aba techs got caught on YouTube grooming a 12 year old….disgusting! Until Alberto is gone I suggest you take your kids to Acorn!

My son really enjoys attending centria, drop offs have been a breeze. ☺️

Our son started ABA therapy at Centria just three weeks ago, and his progress has been nothing short of amazing! We previously had to pull him from another ABA school due to negligence and mistreatment, and during the five months he was out, he regressed. But since starting at Centria, that little spark in his eyes is back! His RBT, Ms. Liz, truly loves and cares for him as if he were her own. The director, Javi, has been transparent, kind, and so supportive of our family from day one. His BCBA, Illiana, has been incredibly understanding and attentive to his needs. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you, Centria, for bringing back our son’s beautiful smile and helping him rediscover his joy. 💙

The 44th St location is so much better. The Walker center OD doesn't know how to manage her techs and they hate her.

My son was with this center for over a year. He started when he was 6 years old. At first, things were good, and we were hopeful. But after a while, his behaviors started increasing. We thought maybe it was just him adjusting to a new environment, so we gave it time. Then the problems started. His tech began calling off frequently, and we often had to pick him up early or had his sessions canceled altogether. In my mind, where’s the consistency? Consistency is supposed to be key for kids like my son. Later, they decided to cut his hours — first from 8 to 5. They said the long hours might not be helping, but they continued to cancel sessions because the therapist called off. How does that help him improve? Eventually, they dropped his hours again from 5 to 3, saying that studies show shorter hours or a new environment could help with behaviors. Honestly, it just felt like they were slowly pushing us out. I reached out to the admin to talk things through, but it was hard to get another meeting scheduled after I missed one. Then, out of nowhere, they called with just one day’s notice to say they were putting my son’s services on hold. Thankfully, I already had another center lined up. If you’re considering this place, do yourself a favor — look elsewhere. Your child deserves consistency and real support, not excuses.
