Charleston Pediatric Rehabilitation

I had an 2pm appointment for my child and got there at 145. We sat in the waiting room being ignored for almost an hour. We even tried knocking on the door to the back and no one would come out.

My son was referred here by his primary care and they are impossible to get a hold of to schedule an appointment. I couldn't even leave a message because their mailbox is full. I called his Dr. back and had them send my son elsewhere.

Disappointed in this facility-- Never could keep therapists. Also, lack of full disclosure as to what was happening towards the end of its closure. All the therapist left like scattered ants--quickly. Once a thriving facility years ago has now dwindled down to nothing. Sad.

My son has been going for a few months now and sees Savannah, he absolutely loves her! She’s been incredible at helping him get over sensory issues and learning new techniques.

My experience was over the phone. I received a call about my daughter missing speech therapy and I was trying to the receptionist why she missed the appointment. The reason we missed it because my grandmother passed away the week we made the appointment but she quickly dismissed me and showed no sympathy at all. I even told her that I needed a appointment after 2 and she still tried to schedule one before that time. I will not be taking my daughter there. I will be taking her elsewhere.

The therapist are marvelous and everyone is very nice, however wish the office ladies would do a better job at following through with patients. My daughter had an evaluation in the beginning of September I called about once or twice a week for the first 2 weeks after until they said we will call you when we hear back from insurance. I waited nearly 6 weeks after her evaluation and finally called again to be told she's been approved and they just didn't bother to call and set up appointments. The pt are wonderful so I'll continue to go there but just be sure you keep on top of the office to receive treatment.

My child received speech and occupational therapy here a few years ago and absolutely loved it! He progressed so much and when he graduated I was honestly sad to be done. Now my child is 6 and we are back for more speech therapy and he still loves it here! Everyone is very friendly and helpful and they are very understanding if you are running late or need to cancel. My child continues to progress wonderfully and I'm sure we'll be sad to leave when he graduates again.

My 8 yr old daughter was born with a rare chromosomal disorder that has affected her developmentally in speech, physical and occupational aspects. This practice has provided her speech, OT, physical and aquatic therapy since she was a toddler. She has made leaps and bounds compared to where we started. I am very conscientious when it comes to who I allow to work with her. Children feed off of the energy of those they come in contact with and they thrive when you have the right people in your village caring for your child. My daughter LOVES all of her therapists and the patience, consistency, structure and level of experience the therapists at this practice provides is a cut above the rest. I value the professionalism of the staff and the openness the owner and therapists have always given me when we discuss my child's weekly progress and evaluations. The feedback is always detailed and with suggestions for home exercises. What I also value most is the flexibility. They go above and beyond to work with my schedule to ensure my child receives her sessions with the most qualified therapists who love what they do and love my child.

My son is 4 months old and has been going here for the past 2 months for speech and physical therapy. The therapist are awesome! Always in a good mood and never not have a smile on their faces. They always try to explain what my son needs to work on along with showing me ways to help him. I'm so glad I was referred here, I've had such a great experience and they have Definitely taken the time to focus on my son's needs. Thanks you guys!
