I was not pleased with the lack of a follow up after filling out their screening forms. I had waited over a month. That did not give me a good first impression.
My child started a few months ago participating in weekly social skills groups after trying out a few other agencies in the area. Child Therapy Boston definitely stands out above the rest. My son looks forward to going. The activities the therapists facilitate in the group are engaging and relevant. We always feel welcomed and find the office space warm, colorful, and inviting.
Although I can’t comment on their programs (which seem amazing!), I’d like to give positive feedback on the support that I did receive and say ‘thank you’. I spoke to the owner about my daughters’ specific needs, and although they do not offer programs to assist her, the owner took the time to talk with me and listen to my situation. Then, she went above and beyond to connect me to other programs in the area that have been extremely helpful. Thank you!
Child Therapy Boston has done so much for our son. The therapists are always friendly and the office is warm and inviting. I would recommend it to anyone looking to help improve their childrens social skills!!
That's very commun, they want your $ ,but they would rather not see you and your daughter.Have you come across those "prerequisites" to be accepted in a social skills group ? (talk about inclusion !)For these guys ,it's just a day at the office, but for you and me ,it's obviously much more ,,,
This place discriminates against children with disabilities while they collect money for working with children with disabilities. I'm horrified by my experience. They didn't even want to meet my daughter who has moderate apraxia and asd. They don't belong in this business this is appalling😡Avoid at all costs because they "only work with fully verbal children."
