I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer with Children in Motion many times and I have LOVED IT! The staff is so kind and easy to work with. I’ve learned so many things from them and enjoy coming each week. I am someone with lots of questions and they are always eager and willing to listen and answer them. Nothing but positive feedback for this place and these people! 100% recommend for anyone looking to volunteer or bring their kids here.

I have had the opportunity to volunteer with Children in Motion, and it has been an incredibly positive experience. The therapists are welcoming, communicative, and always willing to help. I’ve loved observing the amazing work they do and learning more about the many benefits and impact of occupational therapy.

Children in Motion drastically improved our family life. Working with Eva, we were able to get tools and work with our kid to regulate emotions and better communicate. We are incredibly grateful to Eva and all of the hard work we put in together during our sessions.

Kelly has given my son so much support, and he is learning so many skills to help him in his daily life and how to advocate for himself and what he needs, I have learned so much from her on how to better support him. Our occupational therapist, Laura, is making a profound difference in my son’s life. She goes above and beyond every single session. I truly feel like she cares, not just about my son’s progress, but about our whole experience as a family. I appreciate how attentive she is to my son during his sessions. Laura has helped me understand what my son needs to feel and do his best—not just during sessions, but at home with guidance on things to try, information, and homework that really makes a difference. She takes the time to explain everything in a way I can understand and apply. It’s clear she’s not just treating a list of symptoms—she’s supporting a whole child and empowering a parent. I also want to highlight Ari at the front desk. She was incredibly helpful and patient when I first called—honestly the kindest, most knowledgeable, and responsive receptionist I’ve ever worked with (and I’ve scheduled a lot of medical appointments!). I called multiple times with questions when I was considering switching from Primary Children’s to Children in Motion, and every time she had thoughtful, clear answers that made me feel confident and supported. Scheduling was by far the smoothest I’ve ever experienced. I even switched insurance plans to make this happen. I truly believe this is the only OT practice in our area that is this committed to really helping our kids thrive. They’re not just checking boxes—they’re building relationships and making a difference.
