My son worked with Tara McDonald for a hamstring injury, and she was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She is so patient and has such a natural ability to connect with kids and make them feel comfortable and confident. You can truly tell that she loves what she does and is incredibly good at it!! After each session my seven-year-old would tell me that Tara was so nice and he had the “best day ever!” We both had such a great experience overall, and I would recommend her to anyone 1,000 times over.
Hello. I can say that the staff at Children's Specialized Hospital are all very kind and always available. They provide excellent service every time I visit with my son, especially Kirsy Ulloa. Thanks to her, I was able to understand many things I didn't understand before. Of course, it was easier because she spoke both languages 😃. So I ask that this type of assistance that she offered me be available in all clinics—someone who helps you personally. This makes everything easier when you need to do anything, and I was able to resolve things I thought were impossible. Thank you again!
Gladys is the absolute best!! She takes her time with helping patients, explaining everything thoroughly, and has so much compassion for families with children with special needs! I highly recommend this place for therapy sessions; the therapists are so loving and highly skilled!!! We’re so grateful for the entire team!!! Did I mention Glayds goes above and beyond?? She’s the best addition to this specialized hospital!!!!

Ms. Gladys (front desk) was so helpful she gave me so much helpful information. She was able to help me and showed me options we had.
During my visit, the receptionist did not treat me well and spoke to me in an unpleasant and disrespectful way. When I asked her for a school excuse note for my son, she replied as if I had done something wrong, telling me that I should have asked for it the moment I entered the hospital. Her tone felt judgmental and unprofessional. What made the situation more upsetting is that I noticed she was treating other patients who spoke Spanish very politely and respectfully, while her attitude toward me was noticeably different This is in Bayonne.
Gladis was amazing she went above and beyond to help us check in and even got me a coffee after I asked where the nearest place I could buy one was.
