Child'sPlay Therapy Center

I have sought services in several different places for my children. I am very pleased with cleanliness of waiting room, kindness of staff, and quality of care provided. We are using their OT services for two children. Our children feel very uncomfortable in new places with new people, but everyone here has been very kind and understanding. Highly recommend.

I can't recommend this place enough! We had a therapist change and they worked proactively to make sure we could keep our same schedule. Our son loves coming here and everyone here is amazing!

Our daughter made huge strides since she started therapy here! The play philosophy helps a lot! She looks forward every day she comes! Definitely recommended

One star is very generous to my opinion. This place offered their services at my son’s school. We were told that for an additional fee they can come to the school. We paid for the initial testing that they conducted at a school. I received a report stating that further testing is required. I forwarded VERY detailed reports from the previous therapist. My son was at a different school earlier this year and we could use a therapist provided by the state. They conducted a very detailed multi day testing. The results of those test and his progress reports I forwarded to the Child’s play therapy center. The most recent report was done just a couple months ago. No one contacted me. I called them again and the receptionist kept saying that they need to do their own evaluation. My question “why?” She couldn’t answer. She just kept saying the same thing over and over again. It was like talking to a wall. I requested a call from a supervisor or someone more competent and of course, no one contacted me. Another detail: some days it took me awhile to simply reach out a front desk person. The phone just rings and no answer.

Jeremiah missed having MsAlia as his speech therapist and has been looking forward to this appointment for a few weeks. He has the biggest smile on his face because we’re back with his friends. We’ve missed yall!

We are new here but Ms Kari has given me daughter a huge amount of confidence about talking her feelings already. She’s so excited to come to therapy every week. We are so so so glad we found Kari!

If you have a child who needs OT, PT, or ST services, Child’s Play is the best option! My son has shown SO MUCH progress since going here. Thanks to the help of Ms. Laura, Ms. Anna Claire, Ms. Bailey, and Ms. Tia, my son has been able to learn the functions he needs for everyday life. The staff are kind, always flexible, and listen to your concerns for your child. They are the best and I promise my kiddo would not be where he is developmentally, without their help!

Everyone at Child’sPlay has been so kind and helpful, and Ms. Chandon especially. Not only do I feel my child is getting excellent, specialized therapy based on his physical goals, but she addresses frustration tolerance and following directions and other life skills at the same time. I come away each week having learned something how to better support my child and encouraged by his progress as well. Would definitely recommend this center and specifically Ms. Chandon!

We see Ms. Bonnie for speech therapy and I can not say enough good things about her! She has taken the time to get to know my son, find out what works and doesn’t work for him, and is perfect at redirecting him to a task. She’s also great at tailoring his session to how he is feeling/interacting that day. She has shown great compassion and been very resourceful by noticing the need for OT and helping me to set it up. The speech/OT therapy is new to me and she has really helped guide me to get my son the best care he needs and I’ve noticed so much improvement since we started speech last year. I would definitely recommend her and Child’s Play Therapy!

My three year old started Child's Play ABA therapy for autism at the end of last year right when they got the program up and running. You would never know it was brand new because of how smoothly it runs and how wonderful the care is. Every RBT is attentive and loving to my son. He has made tremendous strides in all types of skills because of all the hard work they've done. And he is just absolutely blooming now and LOVES going to school every day. Kari, the BCBA is top notch. I feel like we came across a gold mine at the exact right time to be able to be part of this program with her as the lead. She runs a progressive program that is trauma informed and everything I was looking for when I started my journey to find my son the care he needs. I had heard horror stories of ABA programs, and I was very thorough in checking this place out. I put him here with confidence that he was going to be treated only with kindness. Now that he's been there for several months, my confidence has only grown. Before he started ABA, I was drowning in anxiety about not knowing what I should and shouldn't be doing. Now I have a team of professionals who have my back. I can't describe the relief I feel knowing that they will tell me what to do and when to do it. Incredible burden lifted. Now I can just enjoy my son without the constant worry that I'm not doing enough. Do not hesitate to put your child here if you get the chance. They will be in great hands.
