I feel that there is no better place than Crysalis Orofacial for myofunctional disorders. The team is extremely professional and clearly experts in the field of speech pathology. We have had an incredible experience. The progress we’ve seen with our child in just a few months is amazing. Lauren was so patient and engaging.

We worked with Caroline and she was great! Really worked well with my son and knew from experience about tongue ties. Highly recommend her for any tongue tie therapy.

From the very first phone call, Lauren, the Client Care Coordinator, was incredibly patient and thorough. She took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we truly understood the process and what to expect. That alone put me at ease. We had the pleasure of working with Lauren Dodd, which has been such a gift. Every visit felt like catching up with a friend, yet it was clear she brings an incredible depth of expertise and specialized training to everything she does. You can genuinely tell how much she cares about the families she works with. I especially appreciated that she always sent us home with clear, helpful handouts so I knew exactly what to focus on between appointments, because let's face it, as a busy mama it's easy to forget. As a pretty seasoned mama, I truly believe seeing her early made a difference for our little one. He’s already making and copying sounds earlier than I experienced with my others, which has been so exciting to witness. All that to say-if you have the opportunity to work with this office, and with Lauren specifically, you will not be disappointed. This place is truly amazing, and I’m so grateful for the care and expertise we received.

After my third baby was diagnosed with tongue and lip ties by lactation, I realized that my older two children and I were also tongue tied, so we were referred to Chrysalis in 2023. Katie worked through my daughter having tongue and lip ties, needing a palate expander and headgear for and underbite, and all the therapy after those procedures. When my son was old enough, Katie and Caroline both worked with him before and after his tongue tie surgery. Then it was my turn! I'm currently working with Lauren, and it has been such a great experience all around. We've had to move appointments around due to school, vacation, etc., and Lauren in scheduling is able to work around our changes and still get us scheduled to be seen. Myofunctional therapy is one of those things you don't know you need until you realize how dysfunctional your mouth and airway have been without them! I wish I'd had all of this done as a child instead of at 38, but better late than never!

We had a great experience at Chrysalis! Lauren helped my son in multiple areas and was so helpful and encouraging as we prepared for his tongue tie release and healed from it. He made so much progress and his airway and palate have dramatically improved! She was always so sweet, positive, and patient. Highly recommend!

Our therapist was Lauren D & her level of expertise was clear in every session. She is thorough, thoughtful, and confident in her assessment and care plan, while also explaining everything in a way that felt empowering rather than overwhelming. It was obvious that my son’s care was being handled by true specialists who genuinely care about outcomes, not just checklists. I would highly recommend this clinic to any parent seeking knowledgeable, attentive care for their child.

Chrysalis Orofacial really helped my newborn with his tongue tie issues. Lauren was very knowledgeable, helpful, articulate, and understanding of his situation. My son has greatly improved with feeding!

We had a fantastic experience with Dr. Emily! Our little guy made so much progress with tongue therapy prior to and post surgery over the months he attended sessions. Dr. Emily set an engaging environment and achieved the results we wanted. Lauren at the front desk was great to work with regarding scheduling and made sure we had a warm welcome. I had a tongue tie that didn’t get fixed as an infant & I kept having issues with it as an adult. So my dentist recommended I reach out to Chrysalis Orafacial. So I did & it was a phenomenal experience the staff was nice, welcoming, & transparent about what to expect for treatment an explain that the treatment could up to 12-14 sessions to complete however I completed mine in 6 session thanks Lauren D. She was nice, compassionate, actively listened to my concerns, & took care of me as if I was her family. I’d recommend this clinic to any parent, child, or adult. 10/10 would recommend I appreciate y’all!
