The owner of the company, Arielle, is responsive to referrals. She seems friendly and committed to helping the community.
Arielle is a wonderful therapist—kind, funny, and compassionate. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and always makes me feel comfortable, valued, and worth her time. I’m so grateful to have found her!
Genuinely fantastic company. It was my first time with therapy and it helped me navigate severe personal and professional issues at the time. They made it very easy to onboard and start asap. Jeanine genuinely gave me hope in a long time and turned it around for me. For those on the fence - do it. Trust me. I was in your shoes once. It may not solve everything, but they do more than enough to get you on the right track. If you are on Purdue’s student insurance, this place is absolutely worth it. Can’t thank them enough.
I was in therapy for several years with the owner and founder of Collaborative Care and and threw myself into the work with all of my heart. We made quite a bit of progress while I was there, and I was grateful. But I don't know that I would any longer recommend Collaborative Care to my family or friends. These past two years have been really hard; I've lost my sweet Aunt, my cousin, my stepfather, two jobs due to outsourcing, and several other losses. In the fall of last year my therapist started canceling appointments about once a month or so. I wasn't sure why, but it seemed like there was some kind of disconnect happening. I also felt like she became a little cold and uncaring toward me during our sessions. Instead of being open and honest and discussing with me what was happening and the upcoming end to our work, I was left wondering and confused. Then in December I was told that my therapy was being terminated with her. But I was also told at the time that we did not have to terminate immediately, that we could take a little time. It was a shock for me, and I really struggled with it. We met once more and then a different therapist contacted me about transferring to her, which was another surprise since I had no idea my phone number was being given to other therapists. As someone who has experienced childhood trauma and abandonment, the way therapy ended has thrown me right back to my childhood. There was no collaboration with me at all and I wasn't allowed to have a part in the decision. There were also mixed messages from my therapist. For instance, as I stated above I was told that therapy was being terminated but we didn't have to terminate right away. And I was also told that we might be able to do EMDR, my favorite form of therapy, sometimes in the future. But in the next session, she hesitated to discuss future EMDR therapy. I trusted this therapist completely, and it takes A LOT for me to trust a person. The things that happened to me in my childhood, especially; and some things that have happened in my adulthood, are sacred to me. I don't share them with many people at all. To me, that trust was broken and stomped on. I no longer have trust in anyone and don't plan on letting anyone into my sacred space/personal bubble. It has completely altered my view of people and of the world, and I have no idea how to recover the parts of myself that I really liked. So that's my experience with Collaborative Care. Keep in mind that a few of these previous Google reviews are from her family members and not clients. Also, my advice is to be careful who you trust and to thoroughly interview and talk with any therapist you may be interested in seeing. Thank you for reading. As a side note, I would also advise anyone who goes into therapy at Collaborative Care to be aware of their payment methods. Cash is listed as an acceptable form of payment, but I have not been allowed to make a cash payment after discussing it several times with the owner.
I have had such a great experience with this company. I have a great therapist! Everyone is so kind. Very clean, comfortable, and nice environment. I have suggested this business to others looking for a therapist and or certain kinds of therapy and none of them have been disappointed. In fact, just as happy as I am with my therapist and experience. I’m beyond grateful Collaborative Care is here.
