They are not helping me to get my life straightened out and seem like they are avoiding and they don’t care abt what I need to set my goal and respect my feelings and they against to LGBTQIA society because I am bisexual and I feel comfortable to chap a therapist that who is LGBTQIA knowledgeable culture and history and they judge my look and my opinion and my lifestyle what I want and need from to sext my goal they are bad people I work with that why I stop going there for counseling and I am stating all over with Chesapeake Health Care mental health they support LGBTQI and they are LGBTQIA friendly as well they are a family to me understand what I went through

So many hurdles to jump through, very inflexible in schedule and demands seem suspicious. Unprofessional but nice staff. I'd not recommend this if you're here for basic help, absolutely meant and built for drug addict recovery.

Unprofessional does not begin to capture how dirty this clinic has done me. The billing team is non-existant and only bills when they feel like it. I have not been a patient of this facility for going on 6 months, and yet I have claims hitting my insurance as late as a few weeks ago. Every attempt to contact and pay for my services has been useless as I call the billing extension, pass messages up through the front office, etc. Nothing. This does not begin to even describe my treatment while a patient. After asking to work towards a diagnosis with Dr. Jani, I was shamed, and made to feel like my request was unreasonable. After this initial appointment, I was then told the Dr. didn't feel comfortable meeting with me anymore, and refused to refill my medication, after continuous attempts to reach her and ask her to refill before cutting off contact. My appointments with Tina Carter were unsatisfying and frustrating to say the least. From the first appointment, I was stigmatized and talked down to. She put Substance Abuse on my record despite absolutely no evidence and refused to take it off until I took a drug test, at which point she still did not remove the "diagnosis" from my account. I tried to give it a chance, but I couldn't make it work. This facility is a nightmare to work with, please go literally anywhere else.

This company is terrible. They bill you prior to your appointment and then miss the appointment time so you pay for sessions you don’t get. The doctors never get on the virtual call at the time of your appointment. I’ve been left waiting 30-45 minutes AFTER my appointment time for the last three weeks before giving up. You can’t ever get ahold of a doctor and the staff that operates the phones at the Salisbury and Cambridge locations are terrible. They never send you your appointment reminders or your links to new doctors and each one you speak to blames the other for any “miscommunication”. Nevermind the fact that they’re rude and quite illiterate over the phone. They hang up often and argue with you. I’ve been with CBH for a year now and I’m done. I’ll be finding a new psychiatrist. Should’ve done it 6 months ago when I was prescribed my millionth different med in 6 months because they just shove new pills down your throat when one doesn’t seem to work. Stay away.

I missed my first appointment because it was set to an in person, even though the person I talked to and myself both agreed to do an online appointment. Then when I asked why the switch happened, the substance abuse therapist or whatever her job was, decided to discharge me with the only reason being the fact I was "being rude." And she used the fact she could discharge me as a threat to make me "calm down" and when I pointed out the fact that isn't a very good policy to follow, threatening patients, she hung up on me.
