Great staff
This clinic runs on greed. They are not taking any Medicare patients with the exception of one pa one day a week. Anybody without the cash can just die. So unless you have a good insurance plan or a lot of money just go crawl off in a corner. Staff understands this and treats Medicare patients with gross disrespect.
My wife fell breaking three ribs and needing sutures over an eye. PA Ariel had x-rays taken and gave post-trauma instructions and placed seven sutures above her eye - which were expertly placed (healing was great).
Had an issue with a bill!! Salina helped me get it resolved she was very nice and helpful!! Her customer service was excellent!! Thank you Salina!!
Everyone at this facility is amazing and so nice! Jenny Ball is INCREDIBLE. She takes the time to listen to every single word and concern that comes out of your mouth and she doesn’t make you feel rushed or judged. She genuinely listens to how you are feeling and wants to get to the bottom of it no matter what it is! I couldn’t recommend her enough. Seriously 10000/10. She is amazing!!
Fantastic staff all the way around, would not go anywhere else.
The quality of each visit depends on which provider you end up with. Some seem like they have no clue what they’re doing. Some are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. 50/50 chance each time you go.
I have received excellent care at the Pocatello Community Care. I am impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the medical team: from the PAs, X-ray Techs and Nurses. They all have been fantastic.
I went in as a walk-in patient for the first time. My husband is seen by Amber as his regular PCP. I was having terrible pain. My first impression from the receptionist who was Brittany was not friendly or responsive. She was rude, unfriendly, and just had me walk through paperwork on an iPad quickly. Never bothered to ask how I was doing nor even cared. I was seen by Derek who was fantastic. He was thorough. He was a bit rushed but I appreciated his ability to check out my symptoms and listened to me. He needed to get some blood work and it was then that I had the LPN come do my blood. I have a power port and cannot be poked or prodded. I asked her if she felt like she couldn’t get it to please get someone else. Not to fish as I know I’m not an easy stick. Well, she “got it” but then began to fish. I left there with a hematoma. The PA, Kelly came and actually took my blood from the other arm. She was great and fast. I wanted to allow a friend to have my permission to read my results when they came back. Again, Brittany asked the friend about the date that I wrote down and not to me the patient. I said I was the one that was okay with the date as I’m the patient. She dismissed me nor did she respond to my request. She was more focused on my friend. Fast forward to receiving the results. I was told my levels were high and out of range and needed to schedule an ultrasound. I did that. I called yesterday as my pain is still high to get some pain medication. I left a message in the morning and never received a call back. I called this morning and spoke to Marci the nurse. She was NOT friendly, helpful, and quite frankly gave me news that was unsettling. She told me that my results were inconclusive but yet my liver may be functioning at 20%. Also, that I need further testing and need to talk to my PCP. I asked to speak directly to Derek or Amber and she said they were too busy to talk to me on the phone and that I could come in to talk to them. She blew me off and said she’d try to have them call me back but that they were very busy. Well I’m still in pain, have scary info about my liver not gallbladder provided. Nor do I feel I have been treated respectfully besides Derek, Amber, and Kelly. I’m very disappointed in the front office Brittany as she’s the face of the office, Marci the nurse answering calls from patience, and the other nurse (LPN) who took my blood. My husband will still see Amber as his care from her is great, but he’s even considering switching due to how I was mistreated. Update: I had to be seen again a week later. I saw Derek once again and of course he was fantastic. However, I was supposed to come back and get bloodwork done on Thursday, but I didn’t make it. I ended up at the ER on Thursday at about 11:30. I was told by ER Dr to make an appt for a scan that I needed that Derek ordered. I called and they put me off for over a week. I called the clinic and spoke to Jamie the nurse. She SAVED me!! She called around and got me an appointment for Monday. Yes, I have to wait over the weekend but I don’t have to wait a week. I’m beyond grateful for her.
