I went to the walk in care and am very thankful. I’m a Health care provider, and was completely satisfied from friendly registrar, to nurse, Blaze, and Dr Nichols. Professional, observant, friendly and timely. Appreciate the diagnosis, treatment, and on my way!
The anaconda hospital was a great experience for me. I had rotator cuff surgery. All the staff were very nice and made me feel like I mattered. Huge shout out to my nurse , chris , who even called me today , to see how I was doing.
I had an extremely wonderful experience in the ER yesterday afternoon after presenting with a painful leg status post a fall. It was the best. The lady at the admitting desk was so kind and so friendly. Got everything together for me and took me back to the exam room. This was followed by theee nicest RN named Ethan who was so friendly, so quick to get my history and do all my vitals and we had a great time talking and laughing a lot. He is amazing. Then in comes Dr. Dunham who I would absolutely rate a 10. Well I would rate them all a 10. Dr. Dunham truly listened to what I had to say and also took into consideration how I thought we should move forward. No ego. No judgements. Just the nicest guy around. I would see this guy ANYTIME. So I just want to give a shout out to all this staff at CHA. They were fab. Thank you for taking such good care of me. And I will always return because I always do. Love CHA and all its staff.
Yesterday, I was admitted for a major surgery. My pre-op nurse tortured me for multiple minutes trying to place an IV catheter, before I finally passed out from the pain, blood running down my arm, etc. When I came to, my heart rate was abnormal, so I was transferred to the ER, and the surgery was cancelled. Thus, this situation effectively delayed my surgery for another 6 months. Additionally, this "nurse" absolutely TRASHED the vein they were attempting to use. I'm unsure if this vein will remain patent for future use or not. My hand is incredibly swollen and sore from their "efforts". As such, I am giving very strong consideration to not returning to this hospital. If you don't have a reasonable nurse who can set an IV catheter without torturing a patient, I honestly don't trust that the rest of the staff are competent enough to complete a major, life-changing surgery.
Well, to start off, my husband has gone to our hospital not once but twice and had gotten horrible service. The first time he had extremely bad issues with his health, we went to Butte, they said if he gets worse to go to the one here in anaconda, his health significantly got worse to the point where he couldn't walk, the ER Dr came in, took his urine sample, said he only had a UTI, NO KIDNEY STONES, nothing else wrong, the next day, I called the Drs office, the nurse said that on the report said he had kidney stones and a UTI, bc of that we went to Missoula, they told us much more of what he had. This time my husband has an extremely bruised foot, can't walk on it, and is extremely swollen. The Dr took three X-rays, not even in the area where he's hurt, but the opposite side, the Dr was also extremely rude and had loudly said 'you went to the Missoula hospital after you came to us and they told you the same exact thing that we did' no, the Missoula hospital told us what they didn't. And then had stated that his Medicaid isn't active, I just checked if it was active and it is. I grew up here in anaconda and I'm honestly extremely disappointed with most of the ER Drs that are in the hospital. They only care about the money, not there patients. And side note: anyone has negative opinions to share, I don't care, don't comment, this is my personal experience for my husband, not yours.
Anaconda hospital has become a staple of our community I had my leg amputated in an emergency surgery to save my life then was flown to Missoula when the surgery team look at my leg they said the always have to redo the emergency surgery but DR Schillhammer knocked it out of the park got it perfectly even although it was an emergency to save my life I can not say enough good about all of the doctors nurses and Todd and Kaylee and Dr Nicole’s are all a great team ten stars review love you guys thank You
Terrible ER. A few years ago I had extremely bad abdominal pain and they kept sending me home after multiple visits not even bothering to do any tests or scans and kept accusing me of drug seeking and saying it was anxiety I finally demanded an ultra sound and was diagnosed with a 5 cm ovarian cyst. They sent me to the gyn doctor they had there and I was bleeding all over their bathroom and could barely stay conscious and when I finally saw the doctor he just says “oh you got your period you’re fine go home” like what the actual hell. And then I get a 20,000$ bill and for what you guys didn’t even do anything so I never paid it off. Good thing I moved far away will never go here again
