Compass Behavioral Health - Outpatient

Came in early December, did the paper work. Make a copy of my insurance, I had to bring the paper work home and brought it in and never heard back from them. Today, I call them and apparently they lost all that information🤦

Claim to have a zero tolerance drug policy for their employees, but that’s a lie. Unfortunately, I no longer feel comfortable allowing my child to receive services from them because of this.

Yall don’t answer the phone or what ? I called like 6 times in a row

It's just not worth it to come here. It takes months to get an appointment, they can (and will) cancel on you last minute without notifying you. Made an appointment in February, they said the next available date would be April, come in on that day finally, and they tell me the therapist canceled and I wasn't given a call or email or anything. They told me my insurance would cover it then I ended up getting a $150 bil anyways. So after 2 appointments I'm sitting at a $300 balance. There's no way to pay online. You can't set up payments. So unless you pay in full IN PERSON, you have to come to the building each time you wanna make a payment. Just overall really frustrating.

I have been seeing Megan for a little over a year now. I wasnt happy to be there at first but she was never pushy and completely flexible regarding every aspect of my appointments, payments, etc. The front staff has always been phenomenal, they greet me by name when I enter and I've never had a long wait for any appointment. I would recommend Compass for many reasons,m. Even if it's not where you want to be they still try their best to make it as easy as possible.

We took our two kids to two appointments for a half hour each over one month. The therapist did not communicate to us about the conversations or any kind of Direction about our kids. So I feel like we got little to no feedback at all. But what I did get was a bill for $400 on each kid. $800 a month is not a bill that my household can afford regardless of what their pay scale said we could afford, so it doesn't matter how great the experience was. I will never return, I feel like I've been robbed of a house payment for my family. This place seems to be nothing but a for-profit money pit and I don't see any benefit to it being our community. Seriously what kind of therapist gets to charge $400 an hour.

While I find the therapist very good, the policies of the company are a bit counterproductive. I was being referred for extreme anxiety...they lost my referral. I needed, because of other issues, to set my appointment for a few days away, but they wouldn't let me do it because of their "same day/next day policy." While I understand the importance of such a policy so clients are seen in a timely manner, if the client is requesting an appointment at a later date, shouldn't that be honored? Also, it took almost two months to get in with the psychiatrist, and I had to call the day before to confirm my appointment, which didn't bother me, except they called me two days before to remind me and spoke with my physically...shouldn't that count as confirmation? The place treating me for anxiety certainly wasn't helping my anxiety!
