Compleat Kidz

Throughout my time there, I observed several ongoing issues that affected both staff and the quality of services provided. Overall professionalism and adherence to policies and procedures were lacking, and there was a noticeable degree of favoritism and poor communication within the team and learners. My experience with the practice manager, Tatiana, was particularly challenging, as her interactions were often dismissive and condescending. In contrast, Tia was consistently supportive and exceptional to work with. Additionally, I witnessed inappropriate SEXUAL conduct between a lead and certain RBTs, as well as staff frequently sitting on bookshelves and using their phones instead of engaging with their learners. Training was very inadequate, and new staff were left to navigate the environment with little to no guidance. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this location as a workplace, nor would I feel comfortable placing an autistic child in their care for ABA services. I tried reaching out to HR to address my concerns and never received a response nor any feedback. If I could rate this 0 stars, I would!!!

Spent about 10 minutes on the phone because we had not heard any thing from them on a referral sent from our pediatrician. I was disconnected and transferred around multiple times. When I finally got to the correct person, the excuse given on why we had not heard anything was because they do not have an OT therapist on staff and that’s what we were referred for. And once they got one, hopefully in the next 3 to 6 months we would be contacted. With the lack of knowledge and skills from just calling in and not having the doctor own staff, it’s an immediate no for us. We’ve already contacted the pediatrician back for a different referral and this experience.

We aren’t fully signed up yet but so far these people are great! We got referred there a few days ago and have already been called and walked through everything they offer and it’s amazing! We already have an appointment set up to get the process started and look forward to getting the help our son needs!

My 5 year old received speech from Compleat Kids in Huntersville for about 6 months, until he started kindergarten and started receiving services in school. His therapist was Ying and he just loved her! I appreciated how thoughtful and caring Ying was, she really took her time with him and made him feel so comfortable and loved! He made some real progress and he still has the take home materials Ying made for him. If you are looking for services; of which they have many, I highly recommend Compleat Kids!

I absolutely love Compleat Kidz Therapy! The therapist Ying is amazing — she’s so kind, patient, and understanding. My kids love her and always look forward to their sessions. I’ve seen so much progress since they started coming here. Highly recommend!

When my daughter’s evaluation outside of Compleat Kidz, she was supposed to have 40 hours a week and when I went to Compleat Kidz one lady told me that she will start at 25 hours and then when she gets older, she’ll move up to 40. So time goes on and she was there for over a year and when I asked another employee, they said that’s not true. The BCBA told me that she was mastering the goals, but she still wasn’t talking and was gonna cut down her hours so at that point, I took her out from Compleat Kidz Now my daughter goes to ABC action behavioral center. She has been at ABC since June and she’s already talking. She’s progressing very well. And she goes for 40 hours now. I was lied to, and if my daughter would’ve had the 40 hours she was supposed to have. I think she would’ve progressed a lot sooner so I would steer clear of Compleat Kidz. I am a mother that is completely new to this and to have someone bluntly lie to you straight in your face when you’re trying to get your child help it’s just disgusting. They do have good people that are working there and I appreciated them but the lady that did the evaluation is a liar and the BCBA is not doing what they need to. I hope this helps somebody because you don’t wanna waste your time on incompetent people that don’t know their job.

This clinic is amazing!!! The staff here are SOO amazing, friendly, and SUPER helpful. My nephew has came such a long way since starting here, he’s progressed very much, never wants to leave, and I’ve never had any issues with them as I primarily am the one taking and picking him up. The staff are always kind when they come get him and drop him off, they’re thorough how his day was and I can tell he loves it also. I would totally recommend this clinic!!!
