Confidential Care

Went here for over a year. The nurse practitioner Linda Selk who does all appointments via zoom from AZ, kept stringing me along and prescribing all kinds of meds that worsened my situation. Her personal biases concerning my treatment finally surfaced and I left immediatly. I couldn't be better for it now. While my counselor at confidential care was good, the actual medical care was not there.

I’m a veteran I’ve been seeing Harold for my therapy, and Kristina for my med management. I really appreciate both of them, they make me feel valid, but they expect to be put in as well. I’m healing from severe emotional trauma & finding a med doc that listens is huge.

Would not recommend. Went for a serious issue I was having that has impacted my life for years, my family doctor had been no help, so I tried here. I spoke to the nurse practitioner who told me that in order to potentially try any new medications I needed to do cbt therapy with her in house therapist, a therapy I had already tried long term elsewhere. I didn’t want to, but I was desperate for help, so I paid the money and went for several sessions hoping I would be able to try anything at all to help me, being told over and over I would be able to see the nurse practitioner soon. Multiple months go by, until finally she gets back to me with the message ‘your issues aren’t serious enough, go and see your family doctor’ Perhaps she truly believes my issues aren’t serious enough, even though they can be debilitating for me. Maybe I’m just a big huge crying baby wasting this geniuses time. Could be. But I came to this place for help specifically because my normal doctor could not help me any further on that issue, I came here for help for something that was destroying my ability to enjoy life, and was not only dismissed, but paid several hundred dollars for the pleasure. If you enjoy throwing away your money and having your issues dismissed entirely, I highly recommend confidential care. Otherwise I could not in good conscious say the same. Patrick was a good therapist, and he is the only reason I held off from one star. But being a good therapist only does so much when you need medication that can only be prescribed by the person who refuses to see you. Loved the building, loved the staff, loved the therapist, but the single one only reason I spent my hard earned money in the first place was because I was told if I did the therapy over again with one of her people, she would try some new medications that could help me. So from my perspective, it feels like she thought she could string me along for awhile and collect a paycheck. There’s other good reviews, I see people who have praised her, which is what leaves me confused. But I can only speak to my experience, which could only be surmised as a complete waste of time and money. I hope you have a better experience if you decide to go for yourself.

I’ve received the most amazing care at this facility. The providers are thoughtful and truly care about your well being.

Horrid customer service. They have been accepting new patients for a while and I'v called MANY times over the past year to get help and nobody has answered the phone during their open hours and wont return my voicemail. If you want confident help, go somewhere else.

As I am a therapist in the community, I can say Kristina is not only one of the best med providers, but a great person to process with. She is always there for you with an empathetic ear, and one of my favorite people in the MH community.
