Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
This aba clinic is about quality complete and pure quality. The leading bcba, secretary, and other therapists always greets you with a smile. They will give you their undivided attention when you are speaking with them. When they meet your child, they 1st spend time to get to know your child. To pressure a child, to make them feel uncomfortable is the last thing they want happening. The child feeling at home is a priority the clinic wants for every child. Once the child feels comfortable the BCBA does a thorough assessment to see what the kid likes, what they like to play with. What interests them. If the child has behaviors the BCBA will come up with the appropriate behavior plan to put the behavior on extinction. The staff do an excellent job on teaching the child the following: to use their words instead of hitting, waiting, sharing, sitting for longer periods of time, their address, birthday, siblings names, Eloping, Prepositions, turn taking, and much more. A whole lot more. I personally worked with the leading bcba and I can say that it was such a pleasure to work with her. I felt I was working with someone I can trust and depend on. If you want the best for your child Connect ABA + Therapy is the place to go.

Facility is big. Lots of activities for children to do. Therapists are very attentive with your child and do their very best to tailor the routine based on your child's wants and needs. They have a kitchen in site and many bathrooms. The place is overall clean and well brighten. They have their own parking lot which is great! The area is kinda iffy with some characters around the neighborhood (Nothing new for Newark but then again, they have a big gated parking lot so you won't have to worry about them or the vulture lady who leaves parking tickets on the street). One thing I did notice is in summer (specially on sunny days) the little offices where children sometimes are get really hot (even more of the Sun is facing the place) because of the big windows they got there (with no curtains) so my only suggestion would be, if a child is getting their therapy in one of those offices, to please set the AC stronger to make up for the already hot room.
My child has received services with them for about 3 weeks. The BA always had an excuse as to why she had to leave early or couldn’t work a specific day. Whether it was a stomach bug, she missed the bus or a pulled muscle. Then last minute after asking her if she can handle it and if the hours worked for her, she said she could do it. A week later she has them call me to tell me she can’t do it and they’re in the process of finding him a new therapist. It’s been about a month now and I have received no contact with them. I haven’t heard of a new therapist being assigned as of yet. My son was attending the Newark location being that I was told it was the most updated center. The communication is terrible. I’m seriously done trying and will be contacting my insurance to complain.
From the moment we walked through the doors of this therapy center, we were met with kindness, understanding, and an unwavering commitment to our child's well-being. The entire team—from the front desk staff to the therapists—has been nothing short of exceptional. They are well-mannered, respectful, and consistently go above and beyond to make both children and parents feel welcome and supported. What sets this center apart is their empathy. They truly see your child—not just their challenges, but their potential. Every therapist we’ve encountered has shown genuine care, always taking the time to listen and create individualized plans that meet our child exactly where they are. They celebrate every small victory alongside us, and their encouragement has made a lasting impact. The facility itself is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to accommodate children of all needs. Whether it’s adjusting schedules, tailoring therapy techniques. If you’re looking for a therapy center that treats your child like one of their own, this is the place. We are so grateful to have found them.
The absolute WORST ABA center I have ever worked with !!! I worked with these people for 2 years until I couldn’t do it anymore, I gave up , it was an endless battle for everything, from incompetent staff and therapist, to absent management that I had to chase just to get things done , I had to change therapist so many times and when I would finally find a therapist I would constantly get rescheduled due to a holiday or them being sick, my daughters occupational therapist canceled her therapy because she felt that my case wasn’t worth her time since it wasn’t enough hours so she decided to take another case and they NEVER found me a new one , but the moment my daughter would get sick and was absent I was met with anger and rude text messages from the therapist, the person in charge of the insurance authorizations Shava is extremely unprofessional, inefficient and constantly takes vacations, rarely submits insurance authorizations on time, so my daughter would always end up with big gaps of missed therapy in between because of it , my daughter had an accident at their gym when one of the swings came off the roof , landing us at the emergency room and leaving my daughter with a bloody and bruised nose , Dinah Leiter one of the owners knows everything I’ve been thru at her center and always apologized but not much ever improved, I fought so hard just to get my daughter the therapy she qualified for, their own staff would vent to me how unhappy they were and how unprofessional the company was , children with severe disabilities are mixed with non severe disabilities children in the same class rooms, I’ve seen therapist scream at kids , curse in front of kids and more , these are just some of the things I experienced with this company through my time with them , it’s definitely not something a mother with a child with disabilities want to go thru just to get decent therapy for their child .
