Thoroughly disappointed, horrendous lack of communication. They implement a strict policy when it comes to client cancellation, but will not hold those same values for themselves. A first assessment was scheduled for my autistic child. They called me an hour before the appointment to confirm that we would be there, I confirmed. We drove 30 minutes away to the appointment, just for them to call me upon my arrival and say they are closed. I would not trust an organization that cannot properly communicate with their clients to handle emotionally fragile children. This disruption in anticipated schedule left my child inconsolable and emotionally distraught. their lack of consideration caused a great deal of emotional pain for my child, and unwavering frustration for me.

Great counseling services for kid/ teens

Connecting communities is a very good company. They are very professional and dedicated to their clients. I really recommend their services to anybody because they will go above and beyond for their clients.

During my time working at Connecting Communities, I enjoyed every moment. My employer was very professional and encouraging. She was warm and inviting and really showed that she cared. The working atmosphere was fun loving and I felt valued. Working hours were flexible which made for a more feasible work-life balance.

Working for connecting communities was such a breath of fresh air it made me realize how poorly I was treated at other work places. The company makes you feel like family and they support you like family. There is room for you to grow in the company as they provide various leadership opportunities. Connecting Communities provides you an opportunity to help your community and provides you the support and resources to do so. Huge shoutout to Crystal and Connecting Communities. Eilam went to craniofacial clinic today and he was able to see 4 doctors with no tantrums and was able to successfully complete 50 picture cards loud and clear and I definitely believe it is Crystal consistency and ability to coach Eilam through his moments of frustration big thank you to everyone involved.

I really enjoy working here! For starters I don’t have to write ISPs or Quarterlies and I can focus on helping people! I’ve been remote since Covid and still feel like I don’t miss a beat! They are big on community support and unity! I always feel included! The staff is so unique it’s a spot for everyone! That the biggest help. I like that they have programs and workshops for the kids to help get and keep your hours for the week . The office is very colorful and unique it feels artsy! I’m able to come to my supervisors for help and always get offered more opportunities to volunteer, attend trainings, get your CEUs, and Supervisions are soo helpful. I came from Richmond and I’m soo impressed at the differences I can see myself working here until the end of time.

Connecting Communities is AMAZING for both working and seeking services!!!! Supervisors are so understanding and knowledgeable. There are many opportunities for trainings or advancement within the job, even to help earn new certifications and titles. You can work on your own time and make your own schedule which is THE BEST. I would recommend anyone work here in any position! Individuals who seek services from connecting communities are treated like family (but with better boundaries!). Individuals have access to trauma - informed care with treatment plans that really do reflect THE PERSON'S goals. 5 stars - Definitely an awesome company.
