I have had great success with the help of Dee in overcoming some of my deepest, longest lasting fears and memories. My childhood was a confusing mixture of wonderful experiences, and undeserved abuse.
I have been with Connections for a few years now. They are the best and do an awesome job.
The therapist and doctor I work with helped me come back from a dark place. The therapy has taught me the tools to get my life going in the right direction. Along with medication management, the care I get from Connections is truly the best mental healthcare I have had. I credit them with teaching me how to manage my emotions so I can have a quality life. Don't give up I'm 60 and I finally got the care I desperately needed, even with me being in remote rural Nevada.
My experience with this therapy company started positively. Unfortunately, my trust was broken when the therapist tried to push their religious beliefs on me multiple times, suggesting that church and God could help solve my problems. This move away from professional therapeutic support into religious advice is unethical and deeply disappointing. If you are looking for consistent and ethical therapy, I cannot recommend this company as their approach to mental health shifted to a religious agenda.
I’ve been seen by many counseling networks since beginning my healing journey. I didn’t realize what I was missing out on until I started counseling at CBHC. My honey has even mentioned how I’ve grown since starting here in the fall of 2024. Therapy is hard work but it truly pays off putting in that work. This team was accepting of me even with my flaws. Non judgmental and just loving from the intake to now. So grateful for this center!
I absolutely LOVE April. She GETS me, and has helped me come to so many "ah-ha!" Moments. I was lucky enough to find them during what is still the hardest time in my life thus far, and it's been a year and a half with them and it's been life saving. Dr. Mahakian is so compassionate and helpful. He doesn't over medicate and cares about his patients. It's hard to find. It's not always perfect with scheduling and stuff but they're very busy for a reason, but take care of me.
