Connections Therapy Centers

My son has been working with Sam in speech therapy for the past 2.5 years, and she has truly been a godsend. Saying goodbye was bittersweet because of how much progress he’s made and how much he enjoyed every session. The transformation from when he started (barely stringing together sounds) to now, speaking in full sentences and being understood, has been nothing short of remarkable. He looked forward to every visit, and would shout “Ms. Sam!” whenever we drove by the center. If that doesn’t speak volumes about a positive experience, I don’t know what does. Watching him light up as others understand him has been one of the greatest joys. I cannot recommend this center enough. Sam has been incredible, and the entire staff is consistently friendly, supportive, and communicative.

Sarah is the absolute best!! I had two friends who worked with her previously recommend her to me and I am so glad they did! Not only did she improve my daughter’s speech better than I could have expected, she built her confidence too!!! I can not say enough good things about her! I will forever be grateful for her and what she did for my daughter!!

My son , at 2.5years, was barely talking and began seeing Sarah for speech therapy. Sarah noticed he needed more support as he was experiencing some motor skill delays. She helped me get him in OT and PT and informed me of programs to enroll him in so we could afford it! He received services from Aug 2023 until we moved in May 2025. In that time his speech went from knowing only a few words, to speaking in full sentences and learning new concepts. He also went from tripping over his own feet to being able to run and jump! He gained confidence in interacting with his peers, has less tantrums as a result of being able to communicate better, and functions at a more age appropriate level. He worked with Sarah (ST), Spencer (OT), Chelsea (OT), and Liz (PT). All of his therapists played a big roll in getting him to where he is today. Chelsea has a notable passion for her job and clearly gets so much joy from working with kids and seeing them progress. The therapy at connections has made a massive impact on my son’s life in a positive way and I would recommend it to others who may notice a delay in their child. The only reason for the missing star is only because I think the waiting area could be a bit better for families who have multiple kids and need to keep them busy while waiting. It would be nice if there were more things for kids to do while they wait other than watch tv and look at books.

My family will forever be grateful for Connections Therapy Centers, especially for Sarah and Spencer. My son started going to Connections at the age of two, where he was diagnosed with apraxia of speech. His speech teacher, Sarah, was absolutely amazing to work with. Our son graduated almost 2 years later and is doing amazing. We owe it to Sarah. We came to realize that she deeply cares about what she does by the way our son progressed with her. She never gave up on him. We can’t say enough good about her. Spencer was also great to work with and helped our son a lot when it came to the OT side of things. He made learning fun and something our kiddo looked forward to!

My child was referred by her pediatrician because she was not pronouncing consonants correctly and mainly spoke with a T in between everything. She comes from a Spanish speaking home and her English was very minimal. Sarah started treating her and helping her, now my kid is able to speak so well! People understand her, I understand her, and her English improved so much that she is conversational. Sarah was so flexible with us and I will miss being able to bring her every week.

Connections Therapy Center has been so helpful and has great providers and staff that have gone above and beyond to help my child. I am incredibly grateful to have such a wonderful experience for my child at Connections Therapy. I don’t trust my kids with anyone because it’s so hard to find good quality services. I have always had good quality experiences every visit at Connections. Everyone there is so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!!!

Only minimal help and they charge a lot more if you go thru insurance. Even if you go the cheaper private pay route (which does not go toward your deductible), you can't schedule on an "as needed" basis or they discharge and you have to pay another $150 for another "evaluation" visit. I am grateful for the bubble blowing, kazoo, and tongue stretching exercises I was given, as those have been helpful at alleviating tension temporarily. But they really aren't long-term solutions. Frankly, what has helped me the most was reaching out to a highly-recommended, Boston-based vocal coach with 30+ years' of experience. I'm able to Skype with him every week and use the videos of my sessions to work through tension-eliminating, voice-improving exercises that are slowly tearing down my bad habits and rebuilding a healthy vocal foundation. As a singer dealing with MTD, finding him has been the biggest and most therapeutic blessing of my life. But I will always appreciate the efforts the Connections speech therapist made to try and help me.

This place used to be located back behind mountain view hospital and had a very small parking lot and it was very congested.... They built a brand new big facility..... And the parking lot is still horrible congested LOL.

Two of my children have come to Connections for speech needs. I am so impressed with the level of professionalism, care, and content knowledge our providers have shown. I was completely confident with my children being in their care. Sarah Sandoval was amazing for my son who had significant speech needs. Immensely grateful for her unlocking our little guy’s speech so he can share his light with the world!
