I really enjoy talking to my providers Shannon and Danny. They listen and take into consideration my needs and help me develop goals that are achievable.

I went here looking for psychiatric care as someone with severe, lifelong mental health issues, and right away I felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously. During the intake interview, they kept pushing therapy on me even though I was clear that I needed a psychiatrist for medication management. When I explained how serious my condition can get, the interviewer became awkward and dismissive. I was then asked to sign a ton of legal agreements and upload a lot of identity documents, which I did. After that, I was basically ghosted. Later I got a message from someone else saying my proof of residence wasn’t good enough—even though it’s good enough for the State of Ohio and the federal government. The whole experience made me feel judged and disposable, like they’re not used to dealing with people who have more serious conditions and only want “easy” cases. The lack of communication and constant push toward therapy felt uncaring and could honestly make things worse for someone who’s already struggling. It felt more about paperwork and money than actually helping people, so I’ll be going elsewhere.

I’m writing as a referral partner, and I can confidently say this practice is one of the strongest clinical teams in the area. Their group of therapists is incredibly well-rounded, there is a modality and specialty for every type of client, and I’ve consistently been impressed with the depth and breadth of their clinical expertise. The founder, who is also a practicing clinician, is communicative, supportive, and truly wonderful to collaborate with. He leads with clarity and compassion, and it shows in the way the practice operates. From a professional standpoint, they are a reliable, ethically grounded resource I feel very confident recommending.

I want to sincerely apologize for my prior review to this place. As I have proceeded through therapy elsewhere, and also worked through a lot of my personal memories and perceptions, I've come to realize that a lot of how I felt about this place, to which I have been uniquely and unfairly mean, came from a very profound sense of abandonment, and that sense of Abandonment honestly came from the fact that I did feel seen and loved by the staff here, and the fact that I had to leave was difficult for me to deal with, and I genuinely just did not want to go. I have felt very ashamed of the way that I responded, and I am hopeful that everyone is well.

Beware! Clinicians cannot be trusted. Specifically Shannon Gallagher!!! I said a sarcastic statement in session and without asking me safety questions if I felt like I could harm myself or had intentions to do so she called the police during our session on me to have a well check done. She knew I was busy that evening, she knew I had plans with my kids, and I made it very clear that I did not have intentions and asked why she would do something like that because I had no thoughts of self harm and was not even asked if I did. Luckily, I had my AI notetaker on next to my work computer and I was able to pull the notes. I requested my session notes from the office immediately per my lawyers advice to compare what the provider had put in the notes to my AI notes. I’ve also contacted my insurance to see if they billed a crisis session as this would be fraudulent compared to my notes from the session which I’ve shared with them. I am waiting to hear from this office to retrieve copies of the notes from the provider leading up to get making that decision. I am very curious to know if she put in her notes if she had asked me any safety questions or what lead to that decision because I think the recording of our session will be much different than what she put. I won’t stop as this was unethical and not based off protocol for these type of events, and this is only how you lose trust in clinicians. If you can’t even talk about how normal people are feeling, especially a parent without getting the police called on you for a well check then why even be in therapy? Now, I get it if I was in a bad place in my life and self harm was an option, but I made it very clear that that was not the case from the get go and this was still done to me. I won’t stop until they’re a repercussions made for this provider, I’ve also reported her to the state licensing board for unethical practices.
