Cortica Carlsbad

We’ve had such a positive experience with Cortica, especially with Ira, Alma, and Seraphina. Each of them brings so much compassion, patience, and professionalism to their work. Ira has been incredibly attentive and understanding, always taking time to listen and tailor support to my child’s needs. She communicates clearly, provides great follow-up, and genuinely cares about progress. Alma is warm and engaging — she makes every session something my child looks forward to. Her ability to connect and motivate is truly special. Seraphina brings wonderful energy and insight, making therapy sessions feel fun while still being effective and goal-driven. She’s patient, creative, and always encouraging. Overall, Cortica has been an amazing partner on our journey. The entire team works together seamlessly, and we’re very grateful for their dedication, expertise, and kindness. Highly recommend!

After a video conference we were advised to schedule an ADOS appointment at the nearest location in Carlsbad. We scheduled the appointment and drove over an hour to get there but upon arrival we were told that they had made a mistake in the system and they had no medical professional to see my child. Despite their mistake they made no attempt to rectify the situation and simply told us we would need to reschedule another day despite how far we had travelled. Why would I trust this company to assess my child when they can’t even schedule appointments correctly and provided poor customer service.

Before we chose to get care at Cortica, the only option that we were given was medication for my son's ADHD. Now we receive additional services and the doctor shared different community resources which I wasn't aware of before. Overall Cortica has offered different options for ADHD care. Thank you!
